About This File

WHAT IS IT?
More Type3 body models. All of the basic Type3 body models are included, along with several new variations.  The feet have been repositioned and weight painted by hand and all of the models have been reweighted, remodeled (to one degree or another).  The models are meant to be used with dimon99’s smaller female hands.  The visible wrist seam has been reduced by adding extra vertices to match what is on the smaller female hands models.  Those files are available as a separate download.

REQUIREMENTS
Type3 compatible textures are required.  You can get my own personal textures HERE.

INSTALLATION
Rename the mesh of your choice to femaleupperbody and place it in your Data\meshes\characters\_male folder.  If you do not have that file path simply create it.  (The default location of the folder is Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\fallout new vegas\data\meshes\characters\_male.)

CREDITS
dimon99 and Backsteppo for the original Type3 meshes, Luchaire for the TypeV mesh, eronel55 for the Berry Boob Job body model and Kendo 2 for the feet edits, boob remodels and anything else.

PERMISSIONS
None.  You may not reuse my content for your own mods or adapt it for use with other body mods without my permission.  Use what I use or don’t use it at all.

TERMS
Do not upload my content to other game sites.  If I want my mods hosted elsewhere I’ll be the one to do it.  You the downloader have no vetted interest in the content provided on these pages.  That includes derivatives and anything that you might steal.  Do not direct link the files and you may not use my content as parts of compilations, place it behind pay walls, or do anything else I think is crooked.

User Feedback

Install the BNB body and let these meshes ( after you rename the one you want to femaleupperbody,  just make sure to read the readme file kendo 2 gives you) over write the BNB meshes.  It will work although NV's system for bodies is not the best , but you will see some stretched breasts on certain animations.  Not crazy HDT breast stretching like Skyrim, just when they bounce you may see the breasts curvature below still in place but the breast shape thats bouncing looks like it is stretched.

Then afterwards don't forget to use the Textures that Kendo provides as well and let these overwrite the BNB body that you installed previously. I believe all that will be left is the animation files.

I've placed the file I want in the _male folder but it is not being used by the game. Do I need to do a fresh save?

Did you make sure to rename the file to " femaleupperbody " ?

Yes... the files really need to be exactly the same as the ones they are replacing.

No you don't need a fresh save. Textures don't effect the save as far as I know. YOu can change them out anytime you wish (provided they don't come with a esp) and have no problems or need a fresh save.

I did. I loaded a fresh save and the character is not using the proper texture now. Her top is nude but her bottom is covered and there is a weird line across her breasts. I had the same thing with the BEWARE OF GIRL body from the Nexus.

Would the file having .nif on the end effect it?

Any time you change or update an armor, texture or body mesh its best to always toggle archive invalidated off and then back on in Fallout Mod Managers Tools tab.  Some mod authors say there is no need, but I find its best to do it anyway.  A texture issue like your describing sounds to me like you have an overlapping texture for your body.  If say you were using T6M and then went to Kendo2's body mesh, make sure you rename everything correctly.  Also that breast issue can happen sometimes when people use T3 bodies but you have Sexout T6 body bsa( think its bsa for nv? ) loaded.  So you get an overlapping body mesh due to Sexout set to load T6, but your using a T3 body replacer.  Best thing to do is delete the Sexout t6 bsa and in Sexout's MCM make sure you select player body as T3 or whatever T3 variant your using.  Hope some of this helps.
