Tight Shiny Leather Pants, MedBod EDIT

  • This CC is completely free
  • You’re allowed to modify it in any way, shape or form imaginable; you don’t need to ask me for permission
  • I don’t take requests nor commissions

Details:

  • Base game compatible
  • For young adult and adult femsims
  • Enabled for everyday, formalwear, career, outerwear and validformaternity
  • Disabled for random sims
  • All LODs and morphs
  • Polycount: LOD1=1196; LOD2=762
  • 2 color channels
  • Only available as .package

Defects:

  • Stretching and deformation depending on animation and sim’s weight (normal simming is mostly ok)
  • Some shading issues below the butt cheeks but thankfully the texture hides some of them

Notes:

  • I separated the pants from the rest of the original outfit, attached MedBod’s hips and added geometry to change the derriere’s shape
  • Several stars aligned to make these pants possible: the texture was easy to edit, I didn’t had to touch the UVs nor adapt the ankle area to my heels, mesh on the buttocks was clean enough to manipulate and making the morphs was a breeze
  • I would say 40-50% of the corsets/tops made by me are compatible while 20-30% of those made by EA will be long and wide enough to hide the gap on the hip and avoid clipping with the tush
  • Every single pair of ‘Impossible Heels’ are compatible the same with EA’s and probably everybody else, with the exception of “3D boots”

  • Original texture and meshes by Electronic Arts

Base game compatible For teen, young adult and adult femsims Enabled for everyday, sleepwear, formalwear, career, outerwear and validformaternity Disabled for random sims All LODs and morphs Polycount: LOD1=10198; LOD2=1836 4 color channels Will add 10 “units” to adult and young adult’s height, 9 to teens Only available as .package Defects:
Shoes look “weird” on CAS, in-game looks fine Potential clipping with floor and furniture also misalignment on animations, poses and interactions between sims 3D accessories that contain morphs, like necklaces, might deform shoes and feet Notes:
Like ‘Nigella’ these also use the “simbot shader” and the effect is little bit more visible Compatible with the default body, MedBod and any other custom body mesh that use the original leg seam Submitter JoshQ Submitted 05/18/2020 Category Shoes

This CC is completely free You’re allowed to modify it in any way, shape or form imaginable; you don’t need to ask me for permission I don’t take requests nor commissions Details:
Base game compatible For teen, young adult and adult femsims Enabled for everyday, formalwear, sleepwear, career, outerwear and validformaternity Disabled for random sims All LODs and morphs Polycount: LOD1=2176; LOD2=800 4 color channels Will add 6 “units” to adult and young adult’s height, 5 to teens Only available as .package Defects:
Blockiness all around Boots look “weird” on CAS, in-game looks fine Some shading issues around the ankle Texture/pattern stretching and deformation depending on animation and sim’s proportions (specially behind the knee) I ironed most of the clipping issues, at least for normal simming, I cannot say the same for custom animations because I don’t test all of them Also potential clipping with floor and furniture 3D accessories that contain morphs, like necklaces, might deform boots Notes:
Being from Sims Medieval (ArisLongBootsRoyalJacket) I naively thought adapting these boots to MedBod would be easy… The thing is Medieval integrates footwear and garments into one so the boots don’t have all the vertices legs normally do and that creates a lot of clipping in Sims 3 After adding geometry and scaling the mesh the result isn’t as sleek compared to the original, one benefit is both MedBod and EA’s legs fit nicely On the EA side you can mix this with mini-skirts, shorts and “texture pants” (like those leggings from Into the Future), anything else that touches the knees and below will clip. On the MedBod side the boots are compatible with legs and future skirts Custom bodies with a different leg shape will probably clip like hell Finally I changed the ‘OverlayPriority’ option inside the CASP, instead of using ‘0x00000005’, like normal boots do, it uses ‘0x00000007’ (shoes), this fixes issues with texture pants. This CC is offered completely free You’re allowed to modify it in any way, shape or form imaginable; asking me for permission is not necessary I don’t take requests nor commissions Details:
Base game compatible For teen, young adult and adult femsims Enabled for naked, everyday, sleepwear, formalwear, career, outwear and validformaternity Disabled for random sims All LODs and morphs Polycount: 1776 4 color channels Will elevate young adults and adults 6 “units” above ground, 5 to teens Only available in .package format Defects:
Texture stretching all around the feet Boots will interfere with mesh and textures from wide pants and skirts that go below the knees; short-shorts, mini-skirts and skin-tight pants should be safe Shoes look “all-kinds-of-weird” on CAS, in-game looks fine Potential clipping with floor, chairs, beds, etc. and animation misalignment under normal simming. This can also can happen on custom animations and poses and also might cause leg/feet extreme bending (I usually don’t have problems on my game while using Passion or OKW, but I cannot guarantee yours) 3D accessories that contain morphs, like necklaces and alike from the game and other creators, might interfere with the shoes and cause severe deformation, don’t use both at the same time Notes:
This is a ‘3D edit’ of Pepper Party Boots, besides having volume on the leg area (plus a normalmap), I modified the shape and generated a new heel/sole parts Old and new don't interfere, you can use both in your game Compatible with both the base body and MedBod, although there’s a chance of clipping on overweight sims, why? beats me, it shouldn’t happen and I redid this CC three times already...
