Check this out.

13 yr old little fuckers... They're great.

You know what I was doing when I was 13? Writing up D&D characters! No wonder I didn't get laid in High School! Should have followed these kids.

Him performing this song live with no PA at a funeral. Just a mic speaker and his guitarist. One of my favorite all time male vocalists for metal.

Spoiler

Can you hear the sirens resound?
From the coastline of Ireland tonight
It's the song of a promising heart
Of the souls that the ocean unite

And she stands by the window alone
Staring into the rain
She is trying to guide his way home
From the waters that keep them apart

So she lights up a candle for hope to be found
Captive and blind by the darkness around
Firm as a mountain, she never will mourn
Timeless awaiting the break of dawn

Can you hear the sailor man's hymn?
As it comes with the rise of the tide
It is sung where the rainbow begins
As a comfort for the tears she has cried

She remains by the window alone
Staring into the rain
She is trying to guide his way home
Keeps on praying for god to protect him

She lights up a candle for hope to be found
Captive and blind by the darkness around
Each wave a promise, a new hope reborn
Sunrise consoles at the break of dawn

Roy Sætre Khantatat aka Roy Khan (stage name) and former singer of Kamelot. For anyone who isn't aware, he's back with his original band, Conception.

And I can't, in all good conscience, not promote my Little Brother's band. He's the bass player for Order of Nine:

Haha! This song has always held a special place in my heart! I remember when it had first been released. I was in the car with my Dad and asked him, "Hey! Will there comes time when this song is considered an Oldie?" He laughed and replied, "Maybe!"

I own several. My workhorse is Ol' Betty, a Les Paul Studio I bought back in the 80s, Coop Devil Girl sticker was a gift from my wife:

I also have an Aria Double Neck that I got for a steal when I worked in a Music Shop way back in the day! I can really go full-blown Jimmy Page with this one:

I also own an Ibanez RG but that's used mostly as a backup. My brother has a classic Stratocaster that I borrow on occasion. Don't have photos of either of those readily available, though.

Thanks! I'll pass that along to him. They're all but unknown here in the US but they're popular in Poland and Scandinavia. And Botswana, if you can believe that!

Here's my two I currently have. I'm strictly a Schecter guy. And for some reason I only like my guitars either in red or black.

Thanks. Schecter loves to put some pretty insane inlays on their guitar. Though the 7 string is a signature so that one had to have been been from Jeff Loomis's request. The one I have is the 1st gen. Later ones had a much lighter/less yellow bridge.

Speaking of Jeff Loomis...

Never heard this version of Boom-boom-boom before, and I'm a blues fan.  It's awesome.

i'm imagining a bit of Santana in there as well.. That is about all that I can think of that would make this better. It is pretty dam perfect as it is. :P

His Gutar work is excellent.. Imagine playing along with John and zz top.

Wait.. a bit better example.

What were the first ever TV shows, movies or music that you used to watch or listen to on your own, when you were a kid?
These were some of mine back in the early 70s...
      TV shows...
It was all B&W... It's funny how I can still remember their music...
My first ever cassette was given to me by my father were a compilation of sorts. It was an orange BASF which looked like this...
One side was ABBA the other was Neil Diamond... 😀
Movies are hard to remember as you'd only watch them once, as there were no DVDs not even VHS back then. 😀

This is about Witcher III. It is awesome. What is also awesome is some of the Parodies that come up from video clips put together. Below is one such video.
