I would but I don't really need it at the moment, MacOS does the everyday stuff I need and my desktop is Windows 10 which has just had updates extended by another year so there's no rush for that either, the Windows 11 laptop has more problems than just the operating system, it's huge and heavy and not nice to use, the battery is useless as well, I didn't even get 15 minutes of Fallout New Vegas out of it before the battery died.

Currently it is a 14th gen if I recall correctly as well as have the 3070ti. I still have the 1080ti so if something happened to that I'm good. 

However, I am itching to create a dedicated Linux gaming machine so bad. Even picked out a case NEXT H2. Small but tall. Good computer to use in my gaming room slash living room with my xbox x.  Bazzite or Steam (still up for decision as Steam is getting better and better but then so is Bazzite) Either would have the "Big Picture Mode" so it would be very much like the consoles. Bazzite might win as I believe I can emulate consoles and such better on it. As opposed to Steam. I would be able to fully move over to AMD and have much better results with Linux which I prefer. 

I keep looking at Linux as well, I think when I do update I'll go all AMD so I can use SteamOS, I don't want Windows 11, I have a laptop with Windows 11 on it and I hate the OS so much that I bought a Macbook for everyday things.

I'm the same, I have little to no interest in new titles, they're either broken, full of divisive politics or both. The added bonus is I don't have to upgrade this PC, I'm still using a 6th gen i7 with 32GB of RAM and a 1080ti, the computer is ten years old and the GPU is eight or nine years old, these talentless hacks are saving me a fortune.

Imagine if the studio that did BSG3 took it over or for that matter any studio in Asia. I would put Europe in it (CD Project Red) but... the screw up they did to releasse Cyberpunk makes me think twice.

 

CD Projekt Red have gone woke as well so we can give up on them. 

XBox is being run by clowns, they spend a fortune on studios and then leave them to their own devices, no wonder games take forever to release and when they do they're shit. It looks like Fable is going the same way, that's been delayed and looks awful with another ugly as fuck girlboss lead.

I don't hold out any hope for Fallout 5, Bethesda don't understand Fallout and will just make another poorly written shooter and the less said about Obsidian the better, 90% of the talent left that studio a long time ago. The only Microsoft studio that might be able to do it justice is inXile, that's headed by Brian Fargo who was the CEO of Interplay when Fallout, Fallout 2 and Tactics were developed, that said Fallout succeeded despite Interplay, not because of it.

If these companies can't make a product that people want at a price people are willing to pay then they don't have a viable business, at the moment they're making broken shit riddled with divisive politics, charging extortionate prices for it and then blaming the customer for not buying it. I wouldn't invest in any of these companies, they're being run by fucking idiots who don't even understand the basics. 

Nothing can be as dumb as NASApunk, the term the fuckwits at Bethesda came up with for Starfield.

In fairness to Cain he couldn't really be critical of it, he does a lot of contract work for Obsidian who have the same parent company as Bethesda, that said I prefer the way Josh Sawyer handled the the TV show fucking New Vegas over, he just said it was nothing to do with him and shut up.

It would be better in my opinion that they start their own franchises and not be tied (held hostage) to other companies that aren't doing well and churning out shit. Rmember as good as CD Project Red was, their CyberPunk game was released as shit it took over a year to get back up to a decent level where they should have been when they released the game. Not even talking about all the other shit they pumped into the game.

This shit is saving me a fortune, not only movie tickets but also gaming, my PC needs replacing but why bother when nothing released these days is worth bothering with?
