Hey, I’m new to this (recently starting adding different mods to my games but I have a good understanding of it). Anyway I tried using the DD settings & changing a few things (ex. Using the option to remove the jealously). But once I did that I couldn’t use the mod anymore. It wasn’t until I went into my mods folder and saw that the mod_data was messed up. So I fixed it. But then all the changing from the settings disappeared.
So I added them again. And the mod stopped working. So I had to fix the mod_data again. All of the setting changes I did left files & one folder (cas_part_customizations) which had one specific file called my_own_customizations.jscon
(that’s how the mod_data was messed up all the files & that one folder were put into the mod_data folder).
But after I fixed the mod_data a second time I instead put all the files into the folder after the mod_data (deviousdersires) my changes were restored but it didn’t let me use the mod. So I took out all of the files & put it in the next folder (animation_customization).
Now at this point the folder I mentioned above (cas_part_customizations) stayed with the (deviousdersires) folder. I did try moving it with the other files later on but that didn’t work either. Anyway after moving the files to the (animation_customization) the mod did work. But my setting went back to the original.
So I then moved all of the files into that one folder I got after changing the settings (cas_part_customization) & then tried putting it right after the (mod_data)
(so it shared a spot with the deviousdesires folder)
that didn’t work. I then moved the folder into the (deviousdersires folder)
(so it was with the animation_customizations)
didn’t work. Then I just moved the (cas_part_customization) folder to mods folder
(just like how the mod_data is supposed to be. Mods/mod_data)
so it’s that one folder & then all the files with my settings changes. Again that didn’t work. So I’ve tried everything to get both the mod to work & for me to use the settings to change what I want. But it hasn’t work.
The DD mod is currently working but if I change anything on the settings it stops working. I still have all the files of my settings changes, just no idea for how I’m suppose to use them.
