New Stripper Boots #2

Kendo 2

Worked some more on these today.  The base meshes and rigging are done.  The white texture is one of the original pvc-style ones from the DAZ release; I simply converted it from a runtime to a dds.  Because of the details on the mesh and how smooth the surfaces are it doesn't need a normal map.  Just like in the Studio, the mesh does all of the work.  I'll probably add some vanilla Skyrim material properties similar to what the armors use (shiny_brite, shiny_dull, ore FX, etc.)  I have six or seven runtimes for this I can convert to textures (ebony black, powder blue, hot fuchsia pink, dark chartreuse green, merlot purple, pearl white.)  I need to do something with the laces though.  They look like shiny black string licorice.

The laces look appropriate for the shoes. The shiny white offset by the thin shiny black lases.. nice. I am sure however when you do change them.. they will be even better :P

Now the Dragon Born can save Tamerel in Stripper Boots.

I can imagine the player saying

Fus Ro Dah..

That bitch.. wagging her finger.

:big-smile:

I really got to get a life.. :P

Kendo 2, would you kindly direct me to where I can learn the basics of creating stuffs for DaZ/Poser? Thank you!

For an existing object, like a free model from somewhere:

*You need Blender (I use a cracked Blender 2.49 but you might want a newer version.)  3DMax won't work because there isn't a plugin for it.
*Install the MeshIO plugin from sourceforge.
*Set the preferences like this.
*Open Blender and delete the cube.
*Import the file as an OBJ.  You might need to reassign the material, image texture and UV.
*Pick the "Selection Only" option on the Export dialog pane.
*Export as an OBJ, exit Blender.
*Open Daz Studio
*Import the new OBJ using the Silo settings.
*Work normally in Daz Studio.

Otherwise, just create objects in Blender/3Dmax and then export them as OBJs.  Then do the steps above.  You can find more (or better) info on Daz3d.com.

How much does FedEx charge for a box of kisses? :3

Thank you so much, Kendo!
