Best way to translate forign languages on web pages

Just wondering the best way to translate foreign languages on the web.  What works the most seamlessly etc.

I remember using that translate plugin for firefox a long long time ago. It would translate it in a different page. It wasn't that good. I haven't really gone to foreign sites in a long time so I haven't seen what's new out there that might work better. Though, I did use my smartphone's camera and google translate a few years back.
