So the game's been out for a few now, but figured I'd just post it anyways.

I mad a simple 3 part mod installer for UE4SS, Wuchange Mod Enabler, and Better PhotoMode Mod for anyone having trouble on how to install any of them.

UE4SS, Wuchang Mod Enabler, and Better PhotoMode MOD Installation Guide

For those that prefer a written guide over a video, I've got you!

This guide consists of three files we are going to download in order to get two mods to work from the video above. Keep in mind that this is split into three parts, so you can stop at whatever point you want if you only need to install a specific one.

I also want to be clear that this guide is for the STEAM version of this game. I don't know how it works for the Microsoft Store version of this game, so I'm not going to second guess and give you wrong instructions. You'll have to find a guide on that version to follow.

Before we begin to focus on the three files let's first open windows and navigate to the game's folder for Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Navigate to the file path where the game is installed on from STEAM. Should be steam\steamapps\common\Wuchang Fallen Feathers. You want to have the Wuchang Fallen Feathers folder open where you see Project_Plague folder. Do not go any further from here until instructed to.

Now, let's begin.

 

UE4SS Installation:

This is the first file we need to download and install...

1. Click the link here: https://github.com/UE4SS-RE/RE-UE4SS/releases/tag/v3.0.1
2. Scroll down until you see "Assets" which is right after Settings, Added, and Removed.
3. Click on the very first link in "Assets" called UE4SS_v3.0.1.zip and download it.
4. Open UE4SS_v3.0.1.zip
5. In your game's folder, navigate your way to Project_Plague\Binaries\Win64.
6. Drag the contents winthin UE4SS_v3.0.1.zip into the Win64 folder.
7. Double check to make sure you've installed these files correctly before proceeding.
8. And that is it for this file.

If you followed these steps correctly, then you've managed to successfully install UE4SS.

 

Wuchang Mod Enabler Installation:

This is the second file we need to download and install...

1. Click the link here: https://www.nexusmods.com/wuchangfallenfeathers/mods/3?tab=files
2. Be sure to click on the STEAM version to download this file.
3. Once file is done downloading, open Wuchang Mod Enabler (Steam)-3-1-0-1753614186.zip.
4. Your game's folder should still be Project_Plague\Binaries\Win64. If not, make sure that it is.
5. In the zip file window, navigate from and to Project_Plague\Binaries\Win64.
6. Drag the folder bitfix and dsound.dll into your Win64 folder.
7. Double check to make sure you've installed these files correctly before proceeding.
8. And that is it for this mod.

If you followed these steps correctly, then you've managed to successfully install Wuchang Mod Enabler.

 

Better PhotoMode Mod Installation:

This is the final file we need to download and install...

1. Click the link here: https://www.nexusmods.com/wuchangfallenfeathers/mods/143?tab=files
2. Be sure to click on the version that applies to you. Whether that's English, or Chinese, download the file that corresponds to you.
3. Once the file is done downloading, open the BetterPhotoModeMOD.zip that applies to you.
4. Navigate back to Project_Plague folder.
5. From Project_Plague in your game's file path, navigate from and to Project_Plague\Content\Paks folder. Do Not go any further from here.
6. Make sure that you either do, or do not have the folder LogicMods. If you do, drag the ZiYouXiangJibyMJ.pak file provided by this mod into LogicMods folder and you're done. If not, keep continuing the next steps.
7. If you do not have this folder in your paks folder, create a new folder and rename it to LogicMods. Keep in mind that LogicMods folder should be in the same folder as ~mods folder.
8. Drag the ZiYouXiangJibyMJ.pak provided by the PhotoModeMOD.zip file into your LogicMods folder. It should look like this: Project_Plague\Content\Paks\LogicMods\ZiYouXiangjIByMJ.pak.
9. And that is it for this mod.

If you followed these steps correctly, then you've managed to successfully install Better PhotoMode Mod.

 

Important Note: If you launch the game and it's not working for you, a good rule of thumb is to retrace your steps. Somewhere along the way you've made a mistake. That's why I emphasize on double checking before proceeding to the next part of the guide installation. Make sure the files you've installed are all in the correct folders.
