The one that I found that works the best is using SG Textures Renewal by Hello Santa and using this. I honestly don't know why SOS was never actually part of the body instead of it being an attachment. I don't know of SOS modular would work the same, but I do know HDT would work. I would of done it that way and just make equippable bodies out of it. This would have avoided using a slot and the SOS bug that removes your upper armor when having your character use SOS.
