    Edit: I just watched the whole video, and all I can say is that I dodged a bullet when I decided not to buy this game. The game's EULA prohibits users from using mods. What the hell? This game is a hot mess. And Bethesda fanboys defend this garbage.

    I'm tempted to keep trying, though. Using software on a single operating system is very convenient. I easily got Cinema 4D R4 running using Bottles, and it works just as well as it does on Windows. With R4, I can do this:

    Welp, too early for a congratulations. It was indeed trying to phone home. I missed the FlexNet licensing folder and the registry settings. Installing that fixed the error, but I still couldn't get past the splash screen. Enough of my hardheadedness. I just installed a Windows 7 virtual machine. It's time for me to get back to modding.

    It's a Bethesda game, but it's different from the original Oblivion. I remember seeing dead NPC heads stretched across Ayleid ruins and other weird NPC physics. I have yet to see a video of the remaster that looks like this. I'm not saying this is good or bad, I'm just saying that this game seems different. It's Oblivion, but it feels like a different game. If that makes sense. Another video on the game physics.
