  1. I still want to play the game, but I refuse to give Bethesda my money, and then I see stuff like this that makes me not want to play it. Was it necessary to re-record this line?
  2. This morning I decided to do something crazy. I copied all the 3ds Max 2013 installation files and registry keys from my Windows 7 virtual machine and pasted them into a bottle and added the 30+ registry keys using the registry editor. I launched 3ds max... nothing happened. I went into the dependencies and installed Mono and tried to launch 3ds Max again. This time it started! Unfortunately I got an error saying the software license failed to initialize, but I believe I can fix it. All that matters at this point is that the software runs.
  3. Is this true? I caught these comments on a Clownfish TV video about the NexusMods body type fiasco. Imagine if the Chinese made their own NexusMods.
  4. Probably through wine. I don't really understand it myself. I looked at the folders, and each bottle has its own set of folders, laid out like Windows. All I know is, it just works (cue the Todd Howard meme). One of the great things about Bottles is that you can take snapshots. If I screw something up, I can quickly go back to where it was working.
  5. I had to install FNIS in a separate bottle. It needed it's own set of dependencies.
  6. LOL. Modders can make a better remaster with OpenMW. I really need to start beating this drum on other forums.
  7. Funny timing. I was just watching Zaric Zhakaron's livesteam of Oblivion Remaster and the game crashed on him. He showed the error and explained that it was an Unreal Engine 5 bug. He also expects that Bethesda will eventually sell expansions.
  8. I installed everything with Bottles. SKSE, BodySlide, FNIS all worked. I could have used Mod Organizer 2, but I prefer to install mods manually. The only problem I had was the way Kubuntu handles folders. Kubuntu (and other Linux distros I assume) allows two folders to have the same name if the first word in one folder is uppercase and the first word in the second folder is lowercase. This broke some mods, but once I realized what the problem was, I moved all the files to the appropriate folders and the rest was smooth sailing.
  9. Finally got a modded Skyrim running on Linux.
  10. Yeah, I'm sticking with the original. This game looks like a cash grab.
  11. Console gamers are going to be in for some fun frustration.
  12. Bad actors are already ending Windows 10 updates anyway.
  13. As a webmaster, I can confirm that everything this man said is correct. Something I never considered before is how much these bots are affecting browser market share. I'm also starting to wonder if this is affecting OS market share as well.
  14. They can upload it here, I don't put up with woke nonsense. I am now 100% convinced that they could have provided mod tools. I wonder how much garbage they added to the game that they don't want modders to remove.
  15. Apparently this game can be modded, but this woke nonsense has left a bad taste in my mouth.
  16. This woke crap is probably why this game has no mod support. They probably think that players can't remove Body Type 1 and Body Type 2 without mod tools. People need to start calling these weirdos Body Type 1 and Body Type 2. That will stop this nonsense in a hurry.
  17. I'm definitely not going to buy this game now. They just couldn't help themselves.
