Well I'm among the minority on this game. I should have never let this game get to me, but I've learned my lesson not to take a developer serious when they play the silent treatment. I rather follow a developer seeing the progress of the game and know beforehand if I'm going to like what's been implemented. It was stupid of me to actually think third person was going to be an option. I was more upset that they couldn't have been transparent about their decision letting the hype build up. The game I'm sure will be good but it's not for me. I wanted to give them a chance, but meh. If I wanted a FPS experience, I can look elsewhere.

I'm not seeing how 3rd person would not have worked in that gameplay stream.

I don't like putting my character in the center because of that but with 3CPO I didn't have an option because your character moves freely and the camera follows you from side to side until you go straight or stop and it positions back in the center. But the issue I was having is if I'm trying to shoot arrows and I'm moving to the right or left, you can't rely on the crosshair because it's not aligned with the crossahair unless you are in the center. I don't know if you can fine tune either one when you are on the right side of the screen since it was designed for the PC to be on the left of the crosshair. Being on the right you have to guess where you are aiming because the crosshair is unreliable. That's why I uninstalled that other mod. It's pretty good for melee but sucks for archery. I already set it up. These are mine. Forgot to answer your question. I used 3CPO - 3rd Person Camera Overhaul - Smooth Camera Follow.

I've never messed with the camera in the ini files but I have used that mod you linked. It's decent. I've never really been all that concerned with the distance but rather the zoom in on my character before it goes to first person. That mod allows you to extend your zoom outs and ins. It also allows you to toggle a hot key of your desire to shift your character to the right or left of the crosshair, which was the original intent when I used it because I enjoyed a mod like that for Fallout 3. And you just reminded me there was a camera mod I've been wanting to try for a while now.

The worse thing about that quest line is not being able to progress in building fame in Dawnguard until you complete Waking Nightmare. There's no way around it unless you console command cheat. Well, there is a way and that's redoing it, or if you do Waking Nightmare and run upon one of those problems, it's possible to revert back to an older save before heading to Dawnstar and try again later. Some times that has worked for me.

No. I use a mod for autosave because I know the autosave from the game itself has been bugged. Isn't that a problem with the engine? I know it's been a problem back on Fallout 3.

I agree. Way too overpriced. That's what happens when they have no competition. AMD needs to come out with good GPUs so that prices can drop. -

From what I heard, the 2080 ti is supposed to be the new Nvidia Titan which is now customizable whereas the previous ones weren't. So I guess you can expect to see EVGA, MSI, Zotac and the others to release them more than likely with trio custom cooler fans and heat sinks and possibly different pcb boards. That's what I heard from a JayzTwoCents anyways. But the rage is that with real time ray tracing is giving you 30FPS at 1080p and a lot of people are not content with that. So you are getting what you couldn't before in gaming but at the cost of performance. But then again that will more than likely change as new drivers are released. However, I certainly wouldn't buy it. Not now. I'm still gaming at 1080p but I just recently bought a 970 and it feels good to be able to slap on 2-4k landscape textures and play with a nice ENB on and still maintain 59.9fps to mid 40s. It's a breath of fresh air. Now I can mount my GTX 260 on my wall for the 9+ years of never giving up on me. -
I stopped following this game. That mainly first person perspective really killed it for me.

That quest line even with UFKP was still bugged. When ever I would pull the chain to release the Miasma my game would freeze

It's the same game with the same bugs and all. Bethesda can't be bothered to try and polish Skyrim no matter how many times they release it. Funny thing is, now that console gamers have mods (except on Nintendo Switch) they can expect the same quality and have to resort to unofficial patches. More of a reason for Bethesda to slack off now.

@bjornk I'm going to keep an eye out for a really cheap 980 ti or 1080 ti. -
Anyone going to get their new GPU with Turing micro architecture design once it hits the market, or wait a while? Seeing as AMD isn't caught up with Nvidia, I already see these GPUs selling at a high price because of supply and demand by gamers, miners and developers. What do you think? Update: Changed the title of this thread to make it more of a general discussion over Nvidia and Radeon GPUs.

You're probably speaking of jaam. He's the reason why I stayed away from Sexout section. I learned quickly him and I would end up clashing and I didn't want to deal with his attitude so I dropped at the most about 3 posts in the Sexout section and never looked back. Which I never bothered using Sexout either.

Well I already did for a friend who needed help with creating a custom follower. But when it comes to Fallout 3 or New Vegas, it's been way too long so I'm rusty on that. Eventually I will get back to Fallout 3. I already tried months ago but I ran into some weird problem where I tried to repair a weapon and it would instantly cause CTD every time. I wish I had my Fallout 3 setup from 4-5 years ago where I had it completely stable except every now and then getting a corrupt save. But wasn't a problem, Just delete latest save and revert back to a previous and you were good to go. LOL reminds me. I forgot about the decapitation hack to fix corrupt save.

In a way I kinda regret moving over to Skyrim. I would have never noticed the leet attitude on LL. I really enjoyed the Fallout 3/FNV section back in those days where I was very productive and very helpful. Never cared who you were, if I was able to help, I had no problem reaching out and even writing a tutorial on the spot for someone. I very much enjoyed that I could provide a solution for someone. In fact, I was always eager to jump in and help someone. I would of easily done the same for Skyrim but I began to become more of a dick because of the attitude over there. K2 isn't kidding when there is circle jerking going on over there by the contributors. If you aren't stroking their ego, they don't care. It's all about I'm better than you and you'll never know what I know, which is what makes me special attitude.
