  1. I might be being overly cynical here but I think they knew the game wasn't very good and used a season pass to get as much money up front as possible.
  2. View File Look Poses Look Poses. This is something I threw together quickly to make the dialogue shots in my comic strips seem a little more natural, all these "poses" do is angle the head in various directions, it makes it easier to get NPCs to look at each other in shots, it's also handy for conversation shots between short and tall characters. These are far from fantastic but they do a job. I made these for something I was doing but now they're made I might as well share them in case anyone else finds a use for them. The character on the right is the player character. Install: Drop the contents of the rar file into your game folder and enable with the manager of your choice. Uninstall: Delete the esp and the "Jims" folder from Meshes\characters\_Male\idleanims Idles: Up1 Up2 Down1 Down2 Left right UpRight DownRight Upleft DownLeft To use: For the player character go into third person, open the console, type TFC and hit enter, now type Player.playidle xxxx (xxxx) being the name of whatever pose you want, for example to look left enter player.playidle left. To reset the pose use player.playidle reset. For NPCs, face the NPC, open the console, click on the NPC so their name appears at the top of the screen, type TLIK to turn off the head tracking, then playidle xxxx, again with the xxxx being the name of the pose you want to use, to put them back to normal use playidle reset on them. These can be used with facial expressions, just be sure to do the facial expressions first, they cannot be used with other poses. Credits: Jonas66 for his fantastic tutorial Cormell for testing them Permissions: Consider them a resource, use and share as you see fit as long as you don't charge money. 4. Morrowind Overhaul, the shot was originally 4K which helps make it look better.
  5. For me it would need remaking from the ground up, it's something that would take modders years and given the way player numbers have fallen off a cliff I'm not holding out much hope . Earlier titles all had a foundation to build on, I wouldn't even know where to start with Fallout 4, the dialogue system is as good as non existent, there are no skills, there's no reputation system, the AI is actually worse than FO3/NV, I'm struggling to think of anything positive. The basics of an RPG aren't there and it'll take a mammoth effort to put them in.

    Morrowind

It's my favourite, I played it for years.
  7. I had to force myself to finish Fallout 4's main quest, long before it was finished I was sick of being sent from one shooting gallery to the next. I started a new game, this time I thought I'd try being an evil character, it didn't take long before I realised that you can't play a different character evil or otherwise, you can only play the one Bethesda created, sure you can change the appearance and gender but it's still the same concerned parent, with the same voice. You can't express your character through dialogue because it's so limited, you can't express it through actions because the lack of a reputation system means nothing you gets noticed or matters and you can't express it by creating a different kind of build, the replacement of skills with level restricted perks means you'll be a jack of all trades.

Gotta love those eyes, I'm a sucker for that kind of thing.
  9. Thanks. It's one of my favourites, I like doing shots with her because her face emotes so well, I think this one was 50% surprise and 100% eyes closed, the surprise expression works really well for this sort of thing.
  10. It's not so much a lack of skills, I cannot get my head around 3d modeling but I'm alright with most other things, it's more a lack of time, organisation and motivation. I started one a little while ago, it was going to be an 80s bar for New Vegas, it would have been as lore friendly as dragons but I've never much cared for that. I created a worldspace and did the exterior, then I made a start on the interior, retextured a bunch of stuff and then thought I'd better do the music before I do anything else, that's when I met the horror that is New Vegas's audio system. I was expecting it to be the same as Oblivion and Fallout 3, create a music set and then have the cell play tracks from the set randomly. I won't go into detail but it involves creating media sets, attaching them to a media controller and then an audio marker, that marker has three levels of sound set to play at various distances from it, there are other settings in the there that screw everything up, this is on top of the already buggy audio and the problem with MP3s over 192kps not playing properly. I had 100 tracks ready, I soon gave up, I wasn't going to go through that hell for each track, especially when the mod would have had to have been a private share because of the music, the final straw came when the game was still playing Culture Club while I'm back in the wastes fighting the Legion.
  11. Thanks, I'm more or a screenshot person than a modder so I'm not sure how much I'll be adding to the place.

Requires the assets from http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/42835/?. You don't need to have its esp enabled, just the assets in your game. General stuff... This is graphically intense and may suffer from low frame rates on lower spec machines, your game must be 4GB enabled. The entrance is a trap door between the Goodsprings pub and store. The Navmesh isn't perfect but there are no real serious problems. There are invisible walls around the rocks to keep NPCs from getting stuck on them. If you use a mod that adds rain then it will rain indoors, this is an engine issue present since Morrowind NMM will tell you this is an ESM, the master flag was set to correct navmesh oddities. The lights are on a timer, if you first arrive at night and everything is dark then wait 24 hours, that will get the script started and the lights will switch on and off as intended after that. The evenings are slightly longer than standard, I'm a sucker for sunsets. This mod is released "As is", no further development will be happening, you are however free to improve upon it.
