IPS has dropped support for chat

IPS has officially dropped support for chat and it will no longer be available as it will not be compatible with future updates. Right now I'm looking for a suitable replacement and I'm currently leaning towards Discord. There's an integration plug available, but it costs 29.99 and is still in beta.

That is regrettable. Would not the good old IRC from quakenet be useful as an alternative?

Because of the stupid language barrier I had not used the chat so far.

The good new is not very many people ever used the chat room, so you won't get too many sad faces. The bad news is that it's gone. I liked that the site had its own chat room thanks to IPS, and not an outside service. Hopefully they'll implement it again in the future. If it's possible.

Discord has its advantages. It is a major player and many people that game and such have an account. They could access NSFWmods.com discord along with all the other chats that they are following at the same time.

Currently with the inactivity of the chat that we had, I'd say wait until the Discord plugin has gotten out of Beta before deciding or not deciding to include it as a service you want part of the site.
