Doublezero Posted Thursday at 04:46 PM Author Posted Thursday at 04:46 PM This was an unfair comparison. This YouTuber should have found a Linux distro that takes snapshots of the desktop and sends personal data to Microsoft's servers. 1 Quote

There isn't a Linux distribution that takes snapshots of the desktops and sends personal data to Microsoft servers ro any servers for that fact Also, correct me if I am wrong. These aren't games optimized for Linux. I'd be curious to see games that have optimized versions for Linux besides the windows ones. 1 Quote

I know it's ancient, but that's the GPU I've been using for six years now and get about the same performance. Again, MS just completely fucked themselves with their greed. Quote

I WILL NOT SWITCH to this garbage!!! I currently have a higher end machine for gaming. That has Windows 11 and it has an account since I wanted shit to work and not have to screw around with it. It only gets mygaming information and the occasional email look up for work which it has already through that spyware being installed as my work computer operating system. This computer, isn't windows. It is older than tpm 2.0 and doesn't have the survalance options that are available now as well as it is running Linux mint. (or whatever flavor I want to play with at the time lol) NO problems and few vectors for it to spy on me. Some spying from Firefox etc. I am also using vpn so that anyone seeing IP will see what I am wanting them to see (most of the time. there are ways to get past that from my understanding but they have to do the work for anything worthy from me ) I've recently gotten a yubi key for some added security for selected accounts I have. Even harder for them to grab information (other than the service I am using at the time of course. they have the information. That is expected of course. If I didn't want them to have it... why am I using their services? 1 Quote
