8 minutes into this video and this guy has already talked me out of buying this game. All NPCs are essential? WTF Todd?

Does anyone outside of Bethesda fanboys care about Starfield? This video by Bear Gaming Asia was uploaded 8 days ago and only has 13K views. I remember his Cyberpunk comparison videos easily getting 10 times that in a day. In fact, his most popular video is the Cyberpunk 2077 Physics vs. GTA 5 Physics and it has 10M views.

As one commenter said, if Bethesda made Cyberpunk, there would be no drivable cars.

I'm making fun of one of their bullshit excuses for not allowing users to delete their own mods. I specifically remember them saying that you couldn't, or that it would cause database problems, yet miraculously they can delete mods when it violates their TOS.

It just works.

How many times does Bethesda have to show people who they are before they stop buying their games? Granted, I don't see this game outselling Fallout 4, but a lot of people have already bought Starfield in spite of all the controversies Bethesda has had in the past. The Fall of 76 has reached 35 million views. Even non-gamers know that Bethesda sells crap games, so what is this guy's excuse? To make YouTube content? At some point you can't complain anymore. I'm not telling anyone not to buy the game (hell, I'll probably buy it myself just for the inevitable sex mods), but anyone who has played Bethesda Game Studio titles over the past two decades knows that their games have been getting progressively worse. Why buy their crap if you are just going to go on YouTube and complain about it? We're past the point of complaining, we've reached the point of pointing and laughing at the people who buy Bethesda products and think they're actually getting a quality product.

Wait. Nexus can delete mods? I thought they couldn't.

Is this Bethesda's Bud Light moment?

The best comparisons I've seen for Starfield are to Cyberpunk 2077, and even that game looked better, but Cyberpunk has received numerous patches. A better comparison would be to compare Starfield's launch state to Cyberpunk 2077's launch state. And even then I think Cyberpunk 2077 beats Starfield. Comparing Starfield to Red Dead Redemption II is unfair. Red Dead Redemption and Starfield are not even in the same universe in terms of quality.

Bethesda really hit their stride with this game.

It's from Starfield. They added the Adoring Fan from Oblivion as an Easter egg, I guess.

Yeah, Bethesda actually made worse faces than BioWare did with Mass Effect Andromeda at launch.
