It probably does. Playing the game online or offline clocks the CPU. And 'offline' mode still requires an internet connection. Otherwise the game won't launch. It goes into perpetual spooling and eventually Windows will throw an error 'application is not responding', or something like that. I haven't played the game since EA and the Andromeda SJW bullshit came to light; over a year now.

Sims4 does the same thing. As soon as Origin verifies the game install and it launches the CPU usage will jump (in my case) from 2% to 100%. Doesn't matter if I run Sims4 full screen or in windowed mode. I contacted Maxis, EA and Origin via email and none of them ever responded. Sims4 is mainly a PC/Mac game and consoles are an afterthought,

GrimReaper was one of those site fanbois and both DocSax and Gregathit went out of their ways to do creative thread clean ups to make him out to be the innocent victim. He used the same bullshit SJW tactics in that FO76 thread as he did with Andromeda and FO4; attack the poster, not what they posted. If the LL staff will turn on a boot licker they'll turn on anyone. The dude is a cunt so I don't care, but at least you know the staff over there is consistent in their lack of awareness fuckery. I now return you to B(EA)thesda and the FO76 dumpster fire. EDIT: and the LL staff is still deleting anything negative that has to do with Grimreaper. He calls people liars and attacks them and his posts stay up. Anyone pointing out what he did gets their posts deleted.
