Because the company he's shilling for would copyright strike him if he used their images and music in the same video.

I wonder if MrMattyPlays still thinks it's disrespectful to criticize a Bethesda game after what FO70shits is? Here's the shitsnack's video where he says hating on FO4 is disrespectful...the idiot.

Nooooo. Evidently I thought I was in another thread.

Wrong thread again?

RD2 did NOT get nominated for Gamer's Choice, but Fortnight did. Gaming just sucks these days.

The engine is THE major technical issue with their games. It isn't just about their games looking dated, but how they perform and what can be done with them. Gamebyro reads every creature and NPC as a playable character. AI processing, rendering, tallying inventory, etc. That's why Bethesda cities are empty; the engine can't handle a 'real' population. Landscape editing is another big one. Gamebyro can't render terrain on the X or Y axis, only the Z axis (up or down). That means you can't sculpt rocks, mountains or caves, have to use actual 3D models and that taxes everyone's machine, no matter how powerful your rig is. Loading doors for cells, can't move from an interior or exterior without one, no ambient exclusions either without using image spaces, which is also a drain on your memory. No volumetric lighting so sun rays, mist, fog, dust, etc. are all done with meshes, so that's more geometry to render. No real water. Bethesda can't do any of this shit BECAUSE they're using the little engine that can't. And all of that is just how their games look and perform; it doesn't even cover script processes and animations.

Bethesda is on UHF tube technology. Everyone else is RF and microchips. And there's nothing working with Gamebyro when it's used as intended; sprites and platforming and explosion pixels. Bethesda pushed the sprites technology to the feasible 3D limit with Morrowind. What they've been doing after that is bolting on software to make Gamebyro do what it's not meant to do; be a rendering engine that can effective process a complex 3D gaming experience.

Translating the corporate-speak; maybe in a year FO76 will be in a state that other games are at launch.

Well, the fanboi dam has burst and they can't hold back the truth anymore. Let them be delusional. As long as Bethesda has their army of on-line lemmings they'll continue to make shit games. I don't have a problem with dumasses getting fleeced, kinda like how feminists screw one another over with their 'going-nowhere-fast' GoFundMe scams. Let'em fuck each other over. The dysfunctional symbiosis fanbois have with Bethesda is the same thing. 'Nothing wrong here. Take my money and keep doing what you're doing.'

In Bethesda's shoes I would take the game offline and refund everyone's money. Accept the loss for what it is. Then I would rework 76 as a single player game; no pvp, no co-op, no microtransaction store. Then I would devote one calendar year to nothing but bug fixes; no engine updates or anything else, just fix what is broken. Finally I would remove all lore breaking elements; BOS, the Enclave, super mutants, brahmin, deathclaws AND the story elements. What I would add; replace the super mutants with creatures like the hillbillies from FO3 Point Lookout, and add human NPCs who are fellow 76 residents. They don't need quests or extended dialogue, just use them as vendors or people to trade goods with. Also make the Overseer a real person who joins you with a small band of fellow residents for the final boss battle. Don't change the story premise or anything else like that. And FINALLY I would release the game at the sticker price of $10.00. All of that would could potentially save Bethesda's reputation and restore a little faith in the company. Also, people wouldn't have Starfield and ES6 in the sniper's crosshairs the way they do now. It would give Bethesda wiggle room for their next release. BUT none of this is going to happen because Bethesda has always been a shit stain company and they're not about to change.

It's one thing for guys like us pointing it out and having fanbois attack us or moderators on LL or Nexus delete our posts; but those assholes can't do anything about mainstream gaming journalists taking Bethesda to task. Even the scrublord shill Youtubers can't spin 76 into a good game. What's funny to me is formerly aggressive and 'right by default' fanbois are playing the victim now. It's like they ARE Bethesda. I swear, it's s fucking cult like Feminism or Democrats.

So much good has come out around the release of FO76. Bethesda's reckoning was LONG overdue.

So have you guys heard what the main plot point in FO70shits is? The Greybeard Overseer leaves clues about the Alduin Scorch Beast that turns people into Scorched Draugr who serve it. The final boss battle is with the Alduin Scorch Beast (a health bar that flies). Oh, and people were rebuilding the world UNTIL the Scorch Beast Alduin messed things up a few days before you left the Helgen Vault. That's what the petrified corpses are. That whole 'rebuilding the world' thing...yeah you just missed it. None of the notes laying around mentions any of this and neither do the robot or Supermutant vendors. Only the Greybeard Overseer's messages lead the way. AWESOME WRITING skills yah got there at Bethesda. Practically Game of fucking Thrones.

This is turning out to be a bigger shit show than ME:Andromeda.

That FO70shits thread at LL is a reflection of the entire site membership.

Nigga be swole...

If the Metacritic score for FO70shits stays where it's at it will be the worst game of the year. Too funny. As it stands right now 70shits is worse than ME:Andromeda. Think about the hit EA took and look at what's happening with 70shits now. Bethesda's reign of glory might be coming to an end; two bad games back to back isn't a winning formula. Too bad Zenimax isn't a publicly traded company. I'd love to see their market numbers.

This is an interesting take on the situation and he has an anecdote about randomly meeting Bethesda art devs a month before before the game was released.

Speaking of sellouts, I think I might have hit on something. The Youtubers who aren't roasting the game and Bethesda might rely on the goodwill of the fans. They want to keep those views and clicks coming in, so they're not saying anything to the scrubs who hate when their cult icons are attacked. 'You said mean things about Bethesda. You're just a hater. Unsubscribed!'
