After spending some time on a Linux desktop, I'd like to say that it's faster than Windows 10, but I also want to be fair and admit that my Windows 10 installation lasted about 7 years, and Windows tends to slow down over time. But after watching the video I posted yesterday, I'm starting to wonder if Microsoft had more of a hand in this.

I just installed Kubuntu on my main computer and I love it! Bye bye Windows!!! I installed the Brave browser using the Konsole and when I needed to enter my password nothing showed, I was confused for a second then I relized it doesn't show you typing passwords for security reasons just like on a Linux server. @ritualclarity Thanks for recommending this.

Update: Well, I was kind of right. (Not really ) But the real problem is this. No big deal though, with a VM I can run 3ds Max in Windows and save all the files to a shared folder in Linux anyway.

Correction: The problem is with Microsoft.net 4. If I can fix that, I won't need VirtualBox.

It took me a while to realize that there was a crawl space in the medical room. I've been trained by games like Oblivion and Skyrim to look for an arrow pointing to a location and not to think.

The problem with Outlook is that Microsoft makes more money shoving ads in your face with the inferior version than they do selling the better product. They track what you're browsing in Edge and show you ads relevant to what you're browsing for in the new ad-laden Outlook. I was going to switch to Thunderbird anyway, I want to use as little Microsoft software as possible, but I'm going to take the extra step of ditching their email service. They even put ads in the webmail version of Outlook, and lately they have been sending email from sources that they themselves mark as trusted senders to the Junk folder, including my bank! I'm beginning to think that Microsoft is shooting itself in the foot with all these Windows shenanigans. Linux is a viable alternative to Windows for the average PC user, and it just needs a catalyst to get people using it.
