    This USAID meltdown thing is out of control. Never in all my years have I seen Democrats loose their shit like this. I think the DC ecosystem is realizing that everything they've been doing since Carter is getting ready to come crashing down around their ears. I'd be shitting myself too if I finger-fucked the books for almost half a century, I'm beginning to think the 2020 election chicanery, COVID, Trump persecutions, Biden's disastrous term and every woke overreach was all for the best. It was a reality check for normal human beings and the pushback against it all is what the country needed to survive. Democrats not only lost the election, they lost the culture war and their voter base as well.

    Saw that earlier; not surprised but I didn't put USAID/Politico and Gamergate together until I watched it. In other gaming fuckery; Wizards of the Coast removes orcs from D&D to 'fight racism' since these Leftist pea-brains somehow conflate an inherently evil fantasy race with real life black people. Just a casual observation here; if you see an image of an orc and the first thing that pops into your mind is 'they're black' then YOU are the racist.

    I don't care about Microsoft stopping support for Windows 10 since I only use maybe 10% of the features. I certainly don't care about their virus 'protection' since there are FREE antivirus programs that regularly update. What I want stop stop is the hijacking of my computer and time for pointless updates and notices. As long as Windows 10 works after Oct 2025 I'm good.

    RIP TikTok (for now). I never used it but I know it's a brainrot influencer hellscape with a few businesses using it for advertising. The one and only thing that bothers me is the precedent of a ban that shits on the spirit of the First Amendment; 170 million Americans got kicked out of their town square by the U.S. government. The premise for the ban was shaky since the parent company offered up all the data and to have it hosted in the U.S., along with government oversite. Doesn't help that the politicians who pushed this and voted for it all had the same idea to invest in META around the same time. On the other hand, the CCP has already refused to sell TikTok even though 60% of its investors are not Chinese companies. They have something to hide.

    'Modernize', monetize and ultimately fuck up. From what I understand it was going to be a remake in Unreal5 with the original gameplay mechanics. How they intended to do that with the original voice actors and sound track is a mystery since the'd have to pay for that again or not use them. At first (to me anyway) it sounded like it's something they could slap together pretty quickly, grab some cash and derail Skyblivion. Now there are rumblings that 'modernize' also includes 'modern audience' and FUCK-THEM-NO-THANKS. Doesn't matter if an outside team is doing the remake, it still has to clear corporate and that's when they'll start fucking it up. I'll wait for Skyblivion.

    Proof of Concept: a 'mirror'
    This is what the 'mirror' is (and isn't) reflecting. How to do it: In the GECK make a copy of the placeable bathtub water object. Open your new object and in the dropdown select a clear water type. Save and close the object. On the tool bar go to world/cells and add a water type to your cell. Save and close the window. Drag your new water object into a cell and place it where you want. SAVE the esp. For everything you wanted reflected, double click the object so the edit window opens. Go to the Reflected tab and path it to your bathtub water. FO3/NV water will not reflect animated stuff like flames or characters/creatures. EDIT: I may or (may not) make a tutorial on this since it will work with a Bethesda game that has placeable water.
