    While working on the Witcher games the writers would contact Sapkowski to get his input. He would blow them off and he called Marcin 'a stupid kid' for thinking that games can tell stories. You'd think that by Witcher3 Sapkowski would have his head out of his ass, but that didn't happen. Sapkowshi had the option to take royalties and he didn't want them; by his own admission he wanted a lump sum payout. He got what he wanted and now he's sore about it.

    Basically, Andrzej Sapkowski sold the Witcher video game rights to CDPR for a lump sum of $9,500 because he thought they would fail. He didn't have any faith in the company or the industry and now he's mad that the Witcher games are a financial success and CDPR is now worth about 2 Billion U.S. dollars. Since this isn't a news article I can say this; Andrzej Sapkowski is a cunt.

    The first mod I install is the Pipboy Readius. I can't stand that clunky hunk of junk the vanilla game uses. All about Vancleef: I like this screen shot. It's setting up an 'uhuh-ohhh' moment for sure.

    Sims 4 has better face morphs and facial animations than Bethesda, and Maxis is doing it with low poly 124 vertices. Pretty sad.

    I doubt Dark0ne is doing any preemptive business model adjustments. He's not a business man, he's a shopkeeper who inherited a store. A guaranteed the next Bethesda Elder Scrolls or Fallout will be DRM'd and the only option to mod it will be through a Creation Kit coded to Bethesda.net and the Creation Club. Say goodbye to nude/adult modding; and without that the game will be on life support.

    It's what's known as 'Man's World'. Construction jobs, oil field work, power plants, the military, etc. Men talk shit to one another and in that world people who waste time are a waste of time. There isn't any coddling and 'try harder next time'. When you fuck up and waste someone's time you get your ass chewed out. And God help you if your mistakes or ineptness fucks up someone else's work. Linus might be from that world. It wouldn't surprise me.

    I only know a few people who use Linux Mint. At work we have an old late 90's model IBM that has a fossilized version of Linux on it. The only reason it hasn't been thrown in the dumpster is we have AutoCAD files on it that can't be opened with Windows. That version of CAD is no longer supported. My brother-in-law has a nephew who works for Wells Fargo and they use Linux. I think Walmart does too. I have no idea how developers pulling their contributions will affect the Linux core and I really don't care.
