Even the scrublord shill Youtubers can't spin 76 into a good game. What's funny to me is formerly aggressive and 'right by default' fanbois are playing the victim now. It's like they ARE Bethesda. So much good has come out around the release of FO76. Bethesda's reckoning was LONG overdue.

So have you guys heard what the main plot point in FO70shits is? The Greybeard Overseer leaves clues about the Alduin Scorch Beast that turns people into Scorched Draugr who serve it. The final boss battle is with the Alduin Scorch Beast (a health bar that flies). Oh, and people were rebuilding the world UNTIL the Scorch Beast Alduin messed things up a few days before you left the Helgen Vault. That's what the petrified corpses are. That whole 'rebuilding the world' thing...yeah you just missed it. None of the notes laying around mentions any of this and neither do the robot or Supermutant vendors. Only the Greybeard Overseer's messages lead the way. AWESOME WRITING skills yah got there at Bethesda. Practically Game of fucking Thrones.

This is turning out to be a bigger shit show than ME:Andromeda.

If the Metacritic score for FO70shits stays where it's at it will be the worst game of the year. Too funny. As it stands right now 70shits is worse than ME:Andromeda. Think about the hit EA took and look at what's happening with 70shits now. Bethesda's reign of glory might be coming to an end; two bad games back to back isn't a winning formula. Too bad Zenimax isn't a publicly traded company. I'd love to see their market numbers.

Speaking of sellouts, I think I might have hit on something. The Youtubers who aren't roasting the game and Bethesda might rely on the goodwill of the fans. They want to keep those views and clicks coming in, so they're not saying anything to the scrubs who hate when their cult icons are attacked. 'You said mean things about Bethesda. The usual Youtube shill brigade is almost universally panning the game, including the bought and paid for endorsements from that Bethesda 'meet n greet' they had in WV maybe a month ago. Fanbois might be defending FO70shits but they ain't gonna play it; no nude or sex mods.

THE question is; what engine are they using? Unity has a bad habit of not allowing licencees to release their games. Unreal has a 'if we don't like what you're using our software for we'll pull the plug'. Frostbite has issues when used for something other than sports games or gun-and-runs. The game looks interesting but there's too many unknowns. Release the game and I'll think about it...maybe.

Bethesda's 'new Creation Engine' can't handle parallax lighting or dynamic shadows. They're using the same drop light bulbs as they did in Oblivion. The devs did manage to 'figure out' omni-directional lighting AFTER a modder made it work using OBSE scripting. To this day Bethesda is still using meshes (YES, meshes) to simulate glow FX from lighting. Lighting is one of the limitations of the Gamebyro engine that Bethesda hasn't been using for 10 years. The lights look flat because the formula is circa 2006.
