That's hilarious.

WATCH ANITA-FUCKING-SAARKESIAN CRAWDAD AND TRY TO BACK-PEDDLE ON THE VERY CULTURE SHE HELPED CREATE!!! Yeah...it's all 'problematic' now since the rape culture witch hunt is now targeting the abuser liberal men and the justifying liberal women making excuses for them.

Oh shit. IGN isn't shilling for EA anymore.
-
omg. Prepare to cringe like you've never cringed before. I guess SNL is trying to be relevant again? Yeah, that ship has already sailed.

That's fucking awesome.

My gold standard for a game is; $1 per hour game play for the main campaign. If a game I'm interested in doesn't 60+ hrs of campaign play in the base game then I won't buy it at full price. Increasing the price of a game based on number crunching and bean counting from some asshole analyst shows a lack of understanding. That $60 not only includes playtime invested but also 'little' things like story, graphics, replay value, and everything else gamers look for BEFORE they buy.

Of course they will blame the customers. It certainly can't be their fault.

I heard the actual campaign is really short, like 4-6 hrs and that's it. I also heard you start as playing for the Empire and then are forced to switch sides about half way through. (So much for the Empire based game they advertised and promised.) And again I've heard the game play is decent, but the p2w loot box mechanics are built into the core game and advancing with earned rewards is a serious MMO grind.

This is the lead in post to this thread. It is obvious that you didn't read it, or you're choosing to ignore it. So, NO there will not be a thread about bashing religion/atheism and posts that do that will be deleted. The links to the videos you posted are funny and qualify for the thread. It was the text you included that missed the mark and that shit was patently unfunny. Not even in the same zip code as funny. And according to the rules for this thread I COULD have deleted your post when you started screeching about 'racist filth in the White House' and labeling people YOU don't agree with as 'ludicrous'. It is crystal clear to me what you intended and that you violated the thread rules. Now I'm suspect it was intentional on your part, since you refuse to let it go. You were wrong for posting the text and I addressed it. And you shouldn't have posted in the first place since you went at things from the stance of being offended by what you had read in the thread. You stated as much. Your verbiage is a dead give away, so just fucking let it go already.

Good grief. Shit like this is why we can't have nice things.

@Gandalftw I'm going to go ahead and give you a heads up now so there won't be hurt feelings later; trolling isn't against the rules here so don't start anything you can't finish and don't try to report people after you flame them. The staff will not intervene on your behalf, or anyone else's. And NO, you cannot start another troll thread. Use this one since that's what I set it up for. Thus far there haven't been any 'personal attack' issues...aside from you calling people ludicrous. If you can't compete in the market place of ideas and have to resort to SJW buzz words to make a point then you don't have a point to make. This thread is about having FUN, not foisting agendas. And yes, I am posting this in my capacity as a Moderator.

Holy shit. LMFAO.

Well, next year will be 'the year' for games. Cyberpunk 2077, Vampyr, Reddead Redemption 2, etc.

True. It's also very likely Disney has 'morality' clauses or other means to prevent the corporations they sell Star Wars licenses to from damaging the IP. If Mattel or Hasbro had licenses and made Chewbacca choking hazard toys it's probable Disney has clauses in place to stop production or revoke their licensing. I doubt EA has carte blanche to do whatever they please with the Star Wars game. And Disney was probably 'aware' of what EA was planning for the game, they just didn't understand the implications until the backlash started. EDIT: And depending on how the contract(s) are worded there is definitely a 'termination for cause' as an addendum or it's clearly defined.

[Vault 21, Entry #03] 'The Administrators' more Vault 21 ret-conning

According to the 'real lore' (not Bethesda dev afterthoughts) the supermutants we're familiar with are still on the west coast and wouldn't have had time to make it to the Mojave. Deathclaws aren't a thing either and the projects to make them and supermutants are not in full swing yet. I admit I haven't even considered cannibals as a wasteland hazard but they would definitely be something to deal with, though they wouldn't be a major factor imo. In the plethora of gangs to deal with there would certainly be groups who eat people, either as a source of protein or as an intimidation tactic. As for the time line and what factions may or may not be around, the official time line has everything laid out really well. The Brotherhood of Steel is still in the bunkers at Lost Hills. They won't be doing anything for another 40 years. The core group who founds the NCR are still in Vault 15 and people won't start leaving there until 2041, that's 14 years in the future. The only faction to have any substantial presence is the Enclave, and they are still on the west coast. Though I'm sure they would be scouting as far as their vertibirds could fly and they would have temporary fire bases scattered about. -
The European Commission paid the Dutch firm Ecory for a study on how piracy impacts the sales of copyrighted music, books, video games, and movies. But the EU never shared the report—possibly because it determined that there is no evidence that piracy is a major problem. LINK to the archived Gizmodo Article. LINK to the archived original study. NOTE: The study is in its original and unedited format. I included it so there will be no question as to the veracity of the Gizmodo article's claims.

Battle Front (2015) Not a lot has changed for 2017. FUNNY TROLLING
-
Solution: Don't buy the game. Since they are targeting wallets...target theirs. If week-one sales don't hit the beacon score they need, Battlefront2 will be a replay of Andromeda. And that is a good thing.
