With what was going on, the stress etc. He could have had a stroke or heartattack I don't wish any bad to him but even with Covid, he could have made a recorded statement.  Just because the President get's covid doesn't mean he isn't (or shouldn't ) be on the job for really important things. A historic event such as stepping down is IMO one such event. Yep... they wanted to keep him there so that hopefully his popularity would get him in again then once in, Kamala would take over. They would have their person in office. With things deterating they had to discuss the possible option that Kamala would win against Trump and once they had the support, they "announced" that Biden stated he would step down. He backed her and stepped off into the sunset.

Even the most strongest Democrate followers are seeing the bullshit starting to stack sky high. If it wasn't for all the PR villifying Trump as the devil incarnate and the worst person to be in office regardless of who you choose. One of the main reasons I so dispise her is the fact that she worked daily with Biden knowing his deteration and continued on the trail of trying to use him to get to the president's position. I strongly believe but have no evidence that everybody knew that he wasn't going to be able to pull off the presidentcy if he got elected so essentially they were putting Kamala in office.  That shit is just plain dirty. Dirtier than IMO almost anything else that they have done (that there is direct evidcence of their involvement)

The sad things is they can fix it reasonably quickly and easily. I'm talking about the tools. Thre are many people in the community that builds really good tools for modding. Where's Bugthesda? Nowhere. They will hire people that can't do shit but ignore those that can? Maybe because those people will actually challenge you for proper pay and respect? Not follow your current whatever strange policy trying to apease those that don't even buy your games.

Build the tools. Then release them open source with a license that all upgrades and improvements come back to the source/creator. Let the community build on these tools and for the love of god don't fuck up what they give you for some random social policy or other bullshit.

Let the tools develop a year ot two and use them to help build the next game released. This not only gives an out of the gate tool set for mod authors to start with when the game is released but also pretty much 100% compatablity with the actual game.

Bonus points if you actually and sincerly work with the modding community.

Without laughing at this crazyness I don't know how I'd handle it.

My place of work has been flash mobbed a few times during the George Floyd events. There were many things put into place to help prevent this and mostly make sure the employees are safe. Locking up early for example. Haviing armed guards etc.  I am not at work but this very likely would be a situation where at least the senior managers are watching and seeing if they need to trigger some or all of the contingency processes.

Also, there were some loud talking and such outside my home (I live in such a city) that occured around the time that trump was attacked and only just within about an hour or 2 subsided.  This isn't common.  Likely many of my lefty neighbors ran out their homes to go to others and "discuss" the attempt. Thank god I don thave a doorbell and can't hear the front door from my appartment if they knocked or banged. (people call me when they want to let me know they are coming over   or even if they supprised me and want to come up)

I am so fucking glad I don't have to work tomorrow and deal with all the people talking about this. Many would likely be talking about how the shooter shoudln't have missed. Or other bullshit like this. It took 3~4 days for the crap to subside after the debate. I can only iimagine what is going to go on now with this.

That is perfect for working and learning a new OS.

I might suggest Linux Mint as it is very noob friendly.  I like this over Unbuntu because Unbuntu does some strange things and have had tracking discovered in the system but also it uses Snap. Snap can be quite slow to open a program. Not as good an experience for someone new to Linux. Mint you can use the distro prograrms or install flatpack. (I prefer flatpack for most of what I use)

Also basic Linux Mint is pretty close experience to Windoze. Good to get your feet wet and start getting used to Linux. I strongly advise to start using the CMD whenever possible.

linux Mint also comes with Time Shift which is a clone of Apples back up software. Pretty fully featured. I am using a 512 SSD in my laptop for the backup. You can set hourly, daily, weekly, monthly and boot. With this and a live CD (whichh you used to install it ) you should be able to recover any screw up or problems you come across.

Another option which I like to strongly advice is to use a VM on your main machine. YOu can really screw around witwh Linus with little worries. (a VM with snapshot options) just restore a previous snapshop.

Note: I haven't had to recover from my Timeshift back up yet. Can't personally give any feedback on this.

Oh, and pretty much anything you can find in Debian/unbuntu and flavors you can install on Mint.

you can also pass through a VM of windows for those things that you must have that is in Windoze. Even games if you want to put a second graphics card in. There is a program I believe is called "Looking Glass" that takes the frames of the second graphics card and puts it in Linux so you don't need a second cable and monitor. It is getting faster and faster.

I discovered this by accident running a 40+ level Destruction Mage. I entered a Falmer cave and cast a Master level destruction spell that killed all the enemies in the first room. I used the ritual power and much to my surprise, other dead Falmer started coming up to me from other rooms and levels that were affected by the (unknown to me at the time) huge radius of the spell.  By the time I reached the next cell, however, the Ritual effect had expired. I wondered if the Ritual Power could be recast by the equipping/unequipping trick. Much to my surprise, it did. So I repeated the Master Destruction spell trick, more or less reanimated my original "army" and added a whole batch of new critters to it from this cell. Cleaned the cave out in no time at all and collected my bullshit 100 gold piece reward.

Go into any royal castle, make a save and have fun with this.

Corruption, couruption everywhere. Now they are using the courts as a weapon as well. Not even hiding it. There is an interview where Dr. Phil (I don't really like the guy but that is besides the point) goes through a brief list of what was done to Trump (he was interviewing Trump) and a very simple explaination of what violations that no Judge would do, was allowed into the courtroom against Trump in the most recent case. There apparently was even someone that took a cut in pay and demotion to state level just to go after Trump. (Democrat of course)
