  1. I always felt that way about Vampirism in Elder Scrolls games. When an NPC tells you that the only cure is a stake through the heart, I kind of like it that way. But I guess it makes more sense to have a cure for Vampirism and Lycanthropy then it would for Succubus and Incubus. I think an argument in favor for a "cure quest" is that if you start the game as a Nord and change race, the player should have the opportunity to return to being a Nord. But as you said; you are either a Nord or you're not, and being a Nord or a Succubus for that matter, isn't a disease. It's probably best not to call it a "cure quest" because there's nothing to be cured from. Any quest that allows the player to revert to their original race should be consider divine intervention. Something that can only be achieved through the help of a god and not some conjurer with a black soul gem. I'm all in favor scraping the cure quest. As I wrote in the first post, I'm not a fan cure quests. Not just because of how they are implemented but I hate the idea altogether. When I played a vampire in Skyrim I never sought the cure and I never wanted it.
  2. I have an idea where Vigilants of Stendar members would escort captured succubus around Skyrim like the way the Thalmor and Imperial soldiers would parade storm cloak prisoners everywhere. After freeing the succubus she would thank you by sharing her gift. I like this idea. This reminds of an NPC in Morrowind that was friendly to vampires mainly because of his interest in studying them. I can't find him on uesp.net but I remember speaking to him when I played the game years ago. Sure, send them.
  3. I've begun working on my first scripted mod for Skyrim. I'm a scripting noob so I'm taking my time researching things to see if any of my ideas are feasible. None of the ideas in this post are etched in stone, they're general ideas that I and others on this forum have come up with. What I aim to do with is mod Create three demonic races. A succubus race (in progress), an incubus race and a siren race. Create a quest that has branching paths and choices that effect the game world. (Long ways off from this) The races Succubus A Succubus can seduce men and feed on the semen. They can transform into their human form but this will cause them to consume energy rapidly. I aim make this spell/ability something the player will have to reserve for when they need enter a town. Succubus can enthrall both genders and they will not react negativity when they see her in her true form. Once enthralled, a succubus will be able to walk up to an npc and feed whenever she pleases. A succubus' weakness will be wearing clothing. This will effect health, magicka and stamina regen and weaken spell strength, spell duration and weapon damage. The strength of the negative effects will be determined by the type of clothing with regular clothes being the least negative and heavy armor being the worst. While in human form, the succubus will still experience negative effects but it will not be as detrimental but will cause her to consume energy even faster. Sirens For sirens I want them to have the ability to seduce their pray with music and dance. They will have spells and abilities that can cause sexual encounters with numerous npcs. Incubus I haven't researched incubus yet so I have no idea what to do for this race yet. I welcome any ideas that you may have. Cure quests I'm not a big fan cure quests, especially the way they are handled in Bethesda games. I believe in choice and consequences. For example: If you choose to play a vampire in Skyrim for 100+ hours before getting cured I believe there should be lingering effects like an addiction to blood or some minor discomfort when being out in the sun. For the succubus race I'm aiming for something similar but I also plan to add a corruption meter. The idea with the corruption meter is that the longer you're a succubus the harder it will be to cure. If you plain on being a succubus for 100+ hours, expect to spend 25 to 50 hours getting cured. This post is still a work in progress. Feel free to share your ideas.

  13. What you will need: 3ds max 2010 3DS Max - Nif Plugin 1. To create your collision object, right-click to open the menu and click clone. In the clone options menu select copy and under name type "bhkConvexVerticesShape". 2. With your collision object selected click the modifier drop down menu in select bhkRidgidbody. The polygons will become transparent with red edges. Next, select "Covex Shape in the right menu. 3. In the right menu select create, then helpers and then click the drop down menu and click NifTools. Under object type choose bhkRigidBody and click somewhere near the object in your scene. Next right-click and select the little square next to move. This will bring up the "Move Transform Typr-In" menu. Under "Absoulute:Word" type 0 in the XYZ positions. 4. With your bhkRigidBody selected click the Modify tab and under "Collision Meshes" click "Add" and the click "Select by name on the top menu. This will open a "Pick Object" menu. In this menu click "bhkConvexVerticesShape" and hit "Pick". 5. In the right menu under "Ridged Body" choose Clutter in the Layer dropdown menu, select "3: Sphere Inertia" in the Motion System drop down menu, select "4: Moving5: Critical" in the Quality Type drop down menu and uncheck Allow Transforms at the bottom. 6. Export your objects as a nif file and choose BSFadeNode in the Root Node Type menu. 7. Open your nif file and select BSFadeNode. If for some reason it's a NiNode right-click it to bring up a menu select block then click Convert and choose BSFadeNode. Next select BSXFlags and in the Block Details click the flag. Uncheck Bit 2 and hit accept. For this portion of the tutorial I will be copying the data from a devious device leather collar. It's much easer to do it this way as both items are a similar size. If the inventory object you're making isn't roughly the size of a collar you should find one inside of the Skyrim - Meshes.bsa the better suits your needs. Under Unknown 7 Shorts copy and paste these values from top to bottom: Copy and paste the values as shown below. If any of these values are the same in your nif it's safe to ignore. Select bhkConvexVerticesShape and in Block Detail next to Skyrim Material select SKY_HAV_MAT_CLOTH in the dropdown menu. Next to Radius type 0.0200. Save your nif and start up the Creation Kit. Select your armor Load the nif

  19. I ran into some issues with a few nif files. I fixed them, but now it's too late for me to release this mod tonight. I still have some extensive testing to do anyway.
