Honestly, I wouldn't pick RDR2 either, not that I'd pick Fortnight instead. While RDR2 does certain things right, there's nothing revolutionary about it. Characters look hideous, predefined player character, predefined story. It's a typical boring console game. Gaming sucks because the gamers themselves suck these days. Too many clueless normies.

How to fix FO76: Remove quests Remove quest givers (Robots, computers) Remove ghouls, mutants etc. Remove crafting Remove all PVP restrictions Turn the game into a Battle Royale type of thing in which players try to find the pass code to be able to enter a vault in order to survive the nuclear war, which is just started. Players are spawned in random locations at the start of the game. Pass code is placed inside a random container somewhere on the map. Nukes start to drop randomly on the map after a while and players have to evacuate these areas before they get nuked. Only one player is allowed to enter the vault, so they are allowed to kill the player who currently has the pass code and take it for themselves. Players start without weapons, wearing a random outfit (which isn't an armor). They use whatever weapons or armor they can find inside containers. TL;DR Turn the game into a Pre-war Battle Royale game. The winner survives the war.

Life allows no one to "win", in that sense, we're all losers. Also, one can't be a "loser", if there's nothing to "win". Perhaps you could say that "success" in life is to have lived a life YOU wanted while keeping your sanity, which is obviously a highly subjective matter. I'd say, if you can't live the life you wanted for reasons that are outside of your control, then you can at least keep your sanity, which I'd also consider a success, and playing games is one way of doing it.

Reminds me of a certain cocky Polish developer... They've never given a shit about Fallout lore. Not only they are a bunch of incompetent hacks, but their sense of humor is revolting as well. Unfortunately none of the current situation about FO76 will affect their future attitude, as they have fanboys who are just as revolting as they are, almost a match made in heaven. Don't know about you guys, but I'm so hyped about Shitfield, I'm sure it will revolutionize Bethesda memes.
