  1. I HATED the theatrical cut! I remember leaving the theater in a "What the Fuck?" mood. A friend harangued me into watching the director's cut and suddenly the whole epic made sense. Now one of my favorite films. That said, I am biased: I have always harbored a Man-Crush for the Knights Templar!
  2. Not a fan of extensive tattoos but lately this Babe does it for me: Karma RX
  3. And I can't, in all good conscience, not promote my Little Brother's band. He's the bass player for Order of Nine:
  4. And now I'm removing my guitar from its case for the first time in 5 years...Damn you, Kendo! Like I don't have enough distractions?
  5. This really makes me yearn for the 80s!
  6. Peter Murphy is my favorite choice for when I'm working into the early morning hours:
  7. Where Eagles Dare- one of the great "Watching Saturday Afternoon Movies with you Dad" films. Clint Eastwood, Richard Burton and the extremely lovely Ingrid Pitt!
  8. Goddamn but Lee Van Cleef was THE MAN! One of the best faces ever. He could play such an implacably cold villain. He would form that smile and it chilled your blood!
  9. As far as music goes, I started playing guitar at age 8 and discovered I had some natural talent. Really got into a lot of 70s Prog Rock (Yes, ELP, Kansas, Pink Floyd, Dixie Dregs, etc.). My Dad also turned me on to a lot of great Jazz and 70s era Horn Bands like Chicago and Blood, Sweat & Tears.
  10. Haha! Another few million taxpayers dollars down the toilet and the Administration still isn't pronounced guilty! I hope all of DC collapses in on itself! How many Russians does it take to waste millions of taxpayer dollars? None!
  11. Haha! Somebody needs a few less emotions and Red Bull!
  12. She does not like you, that's for sure! When I first got back into screen shooting, I posted a shot of a dame in one of your outfits. It was ripped down faster than an SJW attacking the Stars & Bars!
  13. What amuses me is they already tried this with Halle Berry. Anyone remember the Jinx spinoff? Anyone? That's right. They knew it was going to be a turd and they aborted it. Suddenly, the fucking idiots think it will work a second time around. What I want to do is wait until this flops, research some of the producers and find out what charities and/or movements they support and ask how they feel now about flushing money down the shitter instead of donating it, ritualclarity wrote: I'm a huge James Bond fan and have read all of the original Ian Fleming novels and even some of the inferior ones published by other authors after his death. Fleming would probably have a stroke. He was a man of his times. There are some cringe-worthy Racist moments in Live and Let Die where he writes some "Black" dialogue in some scenes and if not exactly misogynist likely of the opinion that males are superior. But I don't think he would have been upset because the, ahem, "New Bond" is Black and female. I think he'd hate it because it's just a stupid over-reaction to the current political climate. I mean, when are filmmakers going to realize that a significant portion of their audience is White males? Are they going to keep alienating them? Can they afford to lose money in an age where movies are becoming more expensive to produce but easier for people to access for free? Can they really be that retarded?
  14. Label me however you will but James Bond is a straight male fantasy figure AND a symbol of (self-perceived) Anglo-Saxon superiority. The fans of these movies are going to avoid this like the plague. It will be not only the worst-grossing Bond film of all time but I bet it breaks some other disaster records as well.
  15. The animals in our town ruined the 4th of July celebration too. Bunch of idiot kids started a brawl and two of them got shot. This is at a downtown subway/bus station I've renamed Fort Apache since there's a fight or shooting there every week now. Wonder of wonders: it's the transit lines that serve the "disadvantaged" neighborhoods...
  16. Reading my Liberal friend's comments on the debate on Facebook and laughing my ass off. That party and its followers are eating each other alive. If there isn't four more years of Trump, then The Fix is definitely in. He may as well be running unopposed.
  17. For me it was Happy Days, Love Boat, Fantasy Island and my all-time favorite childhood TV memory: Daisy Duke in that skimpy red bikini in the pilot episode of Dukes of Hazzard! My absolute FAVORITE show, however, was Kolchak: the Night Stalker. Still love it to this day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FfmK8YUdSpY
  18. You know what I was doing when I was 13? Writing up D&D characters! No wonder I didn't get laid in High School! Should have followed these kids. \m/ >'< \m/
  19. Man that store owner called it, didn't he? You can see and hear the fear as soon as he realizes what the backlash is going to be.
  20. Used to work for a company and the boss's daughter was a Vegan. Chick had a constant cold, missed at least a workday a week and later had two miscarriages after she got married. Last time I saw her she looked like she was just rescued from Auschwitz.
  21. And in our continuing investigation we discover the sky is blue and water is wet. Now here's Tad Henderson with the weather.
  22. The way those kids are squirming and fighting back so hard against every human impulse to destroy? Comedy-fuckin'-Gold, right there!
  23. GET WOKE, GO BROKE! The fun part will be when Varner is fired and desperately trying to find new work since her career as a lawyer is most likely over.
