The Trinity films are fun. Not great, kinda slapstick, but enjoyable. Lee van Cleef as Sabata is fun too. The first Django is kind of stylish. Other than that, yeah. Most of the others are sub-B level, maybe some ever dD and F! -

I have zero interest in the Olympics and never watch it or follow the news about it so this is literally the first time I'm seeing this. And I have to say, "What the everlasting fuck?" Seriously? I grew up in the 80s and there were street kids who were self-taught Break Dancers that left this ridiculous, middle-aged woman who should be driving her kids to their soccer game instead of embarrassing her country, in the dust. There is no way she got in without the deck being stacked. I realize that Cronyism and Nepotism have always been a factor in success, but most people have the chops to back it up. This is what a developed country sent to the Olympic games? THIS?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. It's just like Prohibition. We'll have to put up with this Woke shit for about a decade but then people come to their senses. Mostly after the second time they post a half-a-billion-dollars loss quarter. What I'm waiting for is the creative content that's being held back until all this shit sorts itself out. Right now there's a game that is going to blow our minds just waiting for the right time to release. And that studio is going to be the new King.

If I believe my homepage headlines, then Kamala will win in a landslide. The spin machine is still trying feebly to sway the populace. The Democrats and the media have tried everything to sway the vote and it isn't working. The "felon" is still as popular as ever. The Dems (and I'm guessing the Republicans too, since they have almost as much to lose to an "outsider" as well) bet everything on the Hush Money trial. Despite the conviction, it blew up in their faces. And now that Biden (literally and figuratively) shit his pants at the 11th hour and torpedoed the Democrats run. they're stuck with Kamala who nobody wants. Democratic voters will still vote for her since they have no choice. But I'm betting the swing voters give her a Hard Pass. The only cheat the Dems have left is to rig the election. And since their early mail in votes probably have Biden's name on them, even that ain't gonna work!

In all fairness, every movie doesn't have to feature a Straight White Guy as the main character but come on! We want to see good-looking people doing extraordinary things! I should have addressed this in my original post. In fairness to Biden, he was fucked no matter what he did. Is it the right and decent thing to do to send condolences to the family? Yes. But in this political climate he loses no matter which way he goes. Call the family? He looks like a posturing dickhead desperate to control damage to public image. Don't call the family? He looks like a posturing dickhead ignoring his opponent's supporters Seriously. He loses no matter which outcome. And again, I'm not a political expert of any sort but this may be a simile of the entire Democratic party's chances at retaining the presidency as well. Dems are fucked no matter which way they go. Force an Old Man half out of his mind to run again? Run his very unpopular and incompetent VP? Snub the VP and risk looking like you don't actually support the DEI agenda? Acknowledge the inevitable, accept the loss and concentrate on 2028 instead? I, for one, am glad I'm not involved in any part of this fucking mess. Even die-hard Dems have to be silently questioning their party's fitness to rule. And I can't wait to see how they spin it. Anne Rice will have written better fiction than what's coming from the Dems. And Anne Rice sucks.

The Dems are fucked now. If they run Biden, they lose. Half of them don't want him. If they run Harris, they lose. She's even more unpopular than Biden, since he can at least blame his lack of fitness on his rapidly declining mental state. If they pass over Harris and put someone else up, they'll look like they're snubbing a Black Woman. That will earn them a headstand in three feet of shit. In the meantime, their Bogeyman has survived EVERYTHING they've thrown at him. They can't outdistance him. I'm a music school dropout, not an expert of any sort when it comes to politics but even with the media on their side, skewing the tale, I don't see how they can win. Even if I was a Democrat (and I'm not, since they seem to have a problem with Straight, White Males) I would just throw my hands up and mutter something about '28. EDIT: I forgot. They can win if they stuff the ballot box again. But then we all lose because I think that actually would ignite a Civil War.
