Kinda looks like our leaders now.

I did something similar to that years ago on Steam in a private message; and they gave me a warning, as well. So this doesn't surprise me that they can monitor blogs. So yes, they can ban/warn you for PM's. I remember an acquaintance from The Game Collectors was trolling the Anti-EA group because of a personal quibble in the chat of The Game Collectors group and so he went on a little rampage at that guys Anti-EA group and got himself community banned. He couldn't post anywhere in any group within Steam. It lasted a few years from what I remember (the community ban).

Hurricane Ian just reached CAT 5 status with 155mph winds. In comparison take Hurricane Andrew which was a CAT 5 at 150mph winds. Andrew clipped south Florida. Ian is going straight through the center. People still remember Andrew, as do I: Live coverage of Ian:

They noticed people buying cards at 3K+ during the pandemic they want to normalize it. Or the multi-trillion US spending has caught up to the tech market. The elites won't care, they have the money to blow and more money into their pockets every day, so it means less peasants like you an me being able to afford them. In reality, I don't see a point in upgrading ATM. I have a RTX 2070S and it runs everything fine. That may change with time but, I have enough games to last me the rest of my life if I stopped right now. Even then, most of the indie games coming out right now are low 16bit games some are better, but not many. I could probably run most of the indie games out right now on a Pentium 4 with an 8800 GTS, I'm not kidding. -
I received it for free, but the constant updates breaking things made me just go back to LE and I have not touched SSE ever again. Skyrim LE is more a masturbatory game for me anyways at this point. It's easier than having to track down some porn that will "get me off", or waiting for a good cam on Chaturbate.

Interesting. I didn't think about that aspect. I'm sure the Germans thought they were winning by beating back the USSR while the Russians torched and burned everything while they retreated. Also, reminds me of the Dominion War in Star Trek DS9, when on the verge of defeat the Founder says something along the lines: "your victory will be bitter sweet, while the damage to the Alpha Quadrant would be unimaginable". I agree with Peterson here, Putin "wins" either way it flows, and Russia will NEVER do business with the West again, so he will shut down any outgoing goods/services, never to grace the global market ever again. In total we loose big either way.

Oldie but I enjoy bands with messages most of all: I'm just waiting for a metal resurgence to pop out lyrics similar to Samson/Tom or even John.

The vids I've seen on that channel looks to be exactly that. I also had the same thoughts. The system producing robot-like personalities, like when Sam lost his soul or Amara (The Darkness) eating people's souls (Supernatural). The whole idea that we need to "rid ourselves of people in order to save them", is another indication they are gradually making more of these types of people. The moral framework is becoming eroded.

Watched this today: These people have warped senses of what is right and wrong. These are the kinds of people who commit mass shootings, no matter the politics.

*like* for the commentary not the video. *subbed* These guys are awesome, watched a few videos, and enjoyed their commentary. Thanks!

Yeah, not ever getting a drink with ice in it anymore. Someone posted that 80% of ice machines are like this. I believe it. I found this video after cruising around post this video: Don't watch/listen if you are having or plan to have lunch.

Gotta mix it up with some Country: Back to the Hip-Hop:

Yeah, DeWalt, their batteries don't last at all, worse, if you don't regularly use them. I've had more success with Ryobi. (I'm talking about wireless drills) The video above is a good deal, I spent that amount on just a 18V drill no accessories.

I've been debating with myself if things are getting worse. Are they worse, or is just a period of just awfulness? Ubisoft gave me some hope this week with an upcoming patch for Anno 2070 bringing it to the 64bit era along with being able to play the game offline entirely. Previously you had to be connected to update your ARK upgrades and vote in the Senate along with all of your progress being saved on their servers, without the ability to save locally. They are patching it so you can, meaning Anno 2070 may be coming to GoG in the future. Why do I care? IMO Anno 2070 is probably one of the better Anno games, it also isn't taking place in the colonial period, and it is a better game than Anno 2205. So there is some hope that companies large enough pay attention. I don't think Bethesda is one of them, but they could prove us wrong.

Well, I just "blew a gasket", after reading all that drivel over at LL. That site is going insane. Let me rephrase that site has already gone insane just moreso lately. Like "wow" levels. Need to post something cringy.. okay, here: https://www.cbsnews.com/news/california-solar-panels-canals-drought/ the flip: https://www.greenbiz.com/article/giant-desert-solar-farms-might-have-unintended-climate-consequences "While the black surfaces of solar panels absorb most of the sunlight that reaches them, only a fraction (around 15 percent) of that incoming energy gets converted to electricity. The rest is returned to the environment as heat. The panels are usually much darker than the ground they cover, so a vast expanse of solar cells will absorb a lot of additional energy and emit it as heat, affecting the climate." Then this other beauty: https://www.pressdemocrat.com/article/news/california-phases-out-new-gas-cars-so-whats-next-for-electric-cars/ Washington State is following suit: https://www.king5.com/article/news/local/washington-california-ban-sale-new-gasoline-car/281-5abf10c8-14b6-4a48-8450-5791667bb85a I'm sure NY is next. Should I start saving for that nifty electric golf cart I saw the other day? I don't know why I need an account to download mods off that godforsaken site, seriously. I only go there nowadays to download the latest WW update and any additional animations, takes like maybe 10 minutes, if that. EDIT: This just happened: https://www.newsweek.com/californians-told-not-charge-electric-cars-gas-car-sales-ban-1738398 Californians may need to take measures to conserve energy, including by avoiding charging electric vehicles, to prevent strain to the state's power grid over the Labor Day weekend, officials said—a week after state regulators voted on a plan to ban the sale of gasoline-powered cars.

Question: In the second video with the girl touring the Hoover Dam, she shows a solar farm that is pretty extensive. Do solar panels heat up the atmosphere above them? If so, that could explain why there has been low precipitation for 20+yrs. At least in large area around said solar farms. Just Googled: "Solar panels can heat the local urban environment, systematic review reveals. A systematic review of 116 papers looking at how solar panels affect the surrounding environment has found that they can significantly warm cities during the day." Then there is this:

The video leaves out Texas. Why? Some of the Colorado River water does flow into The Rio Grande. Right around Big Bend there is the Edwards Aquifer which supplies underground water to San Antonio and Austin (possibly Houston). The record low levels of Lake Meade goes deeper than just Las Vegas as that video shows, but it also affects most of Texas. Low Colorado River water = low Rio Grande water = low aquifer levels. Locally, we here on the border can see it: https://www.kgns.tv/video/2022/07/08/low-water-levels-lake-casa-blanca/ This could also explain our recent years issues with our own water supply getting disrupted with "water boil notices", which a low Rio water would mean more heavy elements on the bottom of the river bed are flowing into the system contaminating it. Our local news should be on top of it, but instead just show video of a man-made lake getting low. Screw that, show how the Rio is getting low so we all of us who live here can start doing our part.

I'm pretty sure it's satire right now.. but I wouldn't put it past them.

I don't much need this tool for the games I currently play, but streamlining the system even if my comp is more than capable, it is always a ++. Thanks for the link LS!

Maybe relevant to endgameaddiction, I found this quite shocking, especially the part where the water level was back in the year 2000:
