Follow up to my previous post. Apparently, pulling back the curtain to expose a hate filled mod can work out, as that mod was removed from MTS! Do not know if by moderators or modder. Ukrainian names in TS3, yes... promoting Bandera, NEVER!

So, as I am also on MTS a bit, I check forums and mods there. Saw a mod to add Ukrainian names to TS3, so checked it out. This is Stepan Bandera. The mod creator used a Nazi collaborator, responsible the the deaths of millions of Polish, Ukrainians, Russians, Belarussians and more. I love my country, but it is the children (followers) of this man who now run Ukraine and provoked the bloody war in my country. I was sickened to see this, and made comment on the "thank you" page. 

So far, no comment from the mod creator, but one Bandera lover posted, followed by 2 others who also know who and what he was, and still represents to millions of nationalists.

My next post will be lighter!

It took them a while (maybe almost a month) to close my old account, but I can definitely say that I requested it... perhaps prematurely, before input from you and @ritualclarity.

I will say that some "old friends" on LL do not seem so responsive lately.

I already group packages and merge them. YOU have your own "JoshQ Package". ) When I first did this, I didn't really group them as I should. I need to go back and rip the old merged packages apart and reorganize them.

You are making me crash my game! I continually must add outfits to all of my Sims, so I can have them wear all of your different shoes!!!! Townies and homeless Sims all get new shoes! My game is sooooooooooooo bloated from going to CAS and putting your shoes on EVERY female sim and making extra outfits so I can add MORE shoes! OY!!!

Have you use it as yet? I have played with it a few times, but nothing in the last few years. But, it does work!

Games without preset goals can be a challenge. Although, the field is somewhat open, depending on interests and mods to suit. It can be as being a child and make your Sim a prince or princes, good or evil, etc. I have vampires, demons who kill other Sims! Of course my FemmeBots!!! Kinky World has a few options aside from woohoo, although it tends to try to dominate. I wish it modular, as Nraas mods are. It has drug dealing, grow your own, prostitutes, run a brothel, the high school options, most use existing EA functions to some extent.

For me, it is a bit of "dress my dolls". TS4 uses preset swatches. I can choose colors, patterns, etc in TS3. Also, many enjoy "open world". My Sims can walk or jog from one place to another, ride a horse or drive. My understanding is TS4 does similar to TS1 when Sims leave their lot... a screen for traveling, then they are there.

Biggest problem with 3 is the 32 bit. What seems to lack most with 4 is they don't use the 64 bit, and it could probably run on 32 bit with all the restrictive measure they took to prevent the lag and crashes from an over stuffed TS3. ) And Mac 64 bit is an Origin download only.

@Doublezero, so after 1 1/2 years, have you played any Sims? Certainly, TS4 has several good woohoo mods, probably better than TS3, but as @JoshQ said, 4 just isn't really that fun from what I hear. TS3 really does run okay with a few helper mods. IF you can keep CC to a minimum (I can't ), also helps, and I'm sure your machine can handle things.

Don't have TS4, but thought this a funny possiblity for you...

I saw @Kendo 2's post, and the reply was something about LL getting spam or some other garbage, generating from a few places, and that is their attempt to block it. Don't know. A few times, I logged in and cot some cloudfire message, but it went thru in a few seconds or so. I use Chrome with DuckDuck browser. Don't know versions. Happened a few times when I had Chrome browser also.

I have never heard of this, but imagine they could do something to make you need to side step. Anyone actually ever read the entire EULA? I sure did... NOT. I have seen a lot of things saying, "Don't use for (this or that)", including porn, +18, etc.

Still, unless you play online thru Origin, as mentioned, how would they know what you do?

I went full disk recently, so nothing I worry about. It is a hit or miss deal these days. I completed my TS3 collection by buying used disks on Amazon. I stuck to "very good" condition description, and the disks were clean, and most were much less than half price of new. The key is to get a base game disk that is pre-Origin (hit or miss), as it won't require that you install that garbage, and go online to start installation. After that, even EP's or SP's that ARE Origin, will install to the pre-Origin base game.

If the disk cover says Origin anywhere on it, it's Origin. Older disk covers only had EA on them.

EDIT: OY! If you do go full disk at some point, you will need the super patch, which patches to 1.67. Only thing I really notice is no pigeons.

I saw something similar on DeviantArt.com. I think the polycount may be unworkable for TS3.

This was shared with me by Dailycard on LL. Looks like an interesting way to make garments... I have to try it, BUT, also in the tutorial is using quad remesh to greatly increase polycount, which may not work so well with TS3. But, people that make items for other games that will support the higher polycounts may find this useful...

I know little about it at this point, as I still have not had time to watch the full tutorial.

Sorry I missed this. Hmmm... It is pretty basic. Unzip the file and drop the package into your Mods folder. It's only enabled for Everyday, Formalwear, Career, ValidForMaternity and ValidForRandom. I enabled for random, as it's not an outlandish dress, and can work as random. You did unzzip the file? And the dress is for TS3, not TS4. 

A pity that my husband cannot sing... but when this comes on, he does anyway! Like 5 mins ago in the car. It's sweet!

I have a question about moving content within the site. I currently have 3 blog pages set up. 2 are basically to repost my older content, and been posting newer content thru the regular downloads section. 

What I wanted to know is, is there a way to move content from regular downloads to a specific blog page, or just repost (double post) those items to appropriate page?

My FemmeBots more than the other items, are a novelty that I want to display in one place, especially as there are a few changes in their format.
