ritualclarity
It has been awhile since we celebrated our growth. Just hopping on to celebrate the fact that we have jumped to 28000 members, 8000 members since the post above. Note, that we aren't interested in being the largest or most popular site. However, this is encouraging that there are 28000 people that think our site is pretty cool, That it is wroth the time and effort to sign up. I think it is safe to say as a moderator and part of the admin ere on NSFWmods.com that we think all our members are pretty cool and awesome as well. I'd like to take a moment on the admin/moderators behalf and thank all those that decided to join our humble little site/group. Have an excellent day, week, month and year.
Doublezero
I'm not surprised by the growth. We had a great June traffic wise and this month might be even better.

Kendo 2
Did the site get a huge bump in members recently?

bjornk
That's not the only time I've seen it mentioned as around 280K, which is why I asked. Quote Wanna know something outrageously funny? NSFWMods.com has a over quarter of a million active members and out of all of that we've banned THREE and deleted maybe 5 posts. Food for thought. Kendo 2
My bad. Even with the wrong member count, only banning THREE and deleting five posts is a stellar ratio when compared to LL or Nexus. If we had 200 members and banned 3 and deleted 5 posts that'd be more in line with LL/Nexus numbers...and I'm being kind. 1

Keep in mind if I recall those 5 post needed to be deleted due to the content (not being able to be on the site) Not because ... well we decided to because we wanted to Those that were banned were banned because they were intentional disrupting the entire site not because they had alternate views etc. (the "D" word)
bjornk
I wonder how many of these so called "members" are just spammers and bots.

Clearly signed up just to be able to post the URL of an escort service in a random thread. Do you occasionally cull these kinds of "members" or are they still counted as such? Don't know if the software supports it, but maybe you should introduce a post limit before allowing new members to post URLs. For instance, a five post limit would help filtering out the spammers. Thanks for pointing out that spammer. We flag members who post spam as spammers. Flagging members hides the infracting user's content and revokes posting privileges I don't see a need to introduce any post limits nor does it work with human spammers. The user you pointed out is a real person who posted an innocuous reply in Kendo's Patreon Cracking Down on 'Adult Content' topic who then waited a month to post a spam topic. Spamming is not an issue here, we've had bouts with spammers before but never anything constant.

Flagged another apparent human user posting link to escort services.
