Who's going to play Conan Exiles?

It has gore, nudity, offensive language ( in the conan world ) slavery and sheer fun!  For anyone to complain about a dick slider should just be slapped when there are more " pressing " issues they should take offense to.  But all in all, people need to realize that games are FICTION!!!!

People have private parts it is natural. That shouldn't offend. I find it strange that people are all up in arms about the dick slider when there was  a boob slider in Skyrim and the game is brutal. Slavery is one of the requirements to be successful from what I can see from the videos. Hell yo have to put them on a "breaking wheel" to get them to follow you. A "BREAKING WHEEL". not only are you enslaving them but you are also torturing them.  Nobody is batting an eye on that only hate on a dick slider.

Perhaps the Dick Slider is making them feel insecure?!?

i don't remember a boob slider in Slyrim before i started installing mods   anyway, that's precisely what i meant...  in a game you can have everything (violence, murder, theft, etc) anything except nudity and sex !!  well...  i'm still young, but i think that if i had kids, i'd prefer them having fun with sex rather then with slavery and death

All jokes aside, the videos being uploaded show more than just slider made penis. It shows a pretty good body texture and structure don't you think Kendo, Doublezero? For the most part what is there is pretty well made if compared to Bethesda textures, meshes.

If anyone is interested, a Minomimi, a Skyrim modder some may remember from Lover's Lab and for the colour purple (nb. not the film; he just likes purple...), ahem sorry, well he's an interesting duck, running a You-Toobers Life, and has taken a interest in Conan Exiles, and somehow scraped together enough to run a server...

It might get interesting.  He should be an excellent administrator.  He's certainly aware, hyper-aware actually, of the politics of this sort of thing.

I was thinking about starting a server myself but right now I have my hands full with this site. I am considering making forums for those who are running a Conan Exiles server. If he's interested in it let me know.

Does the game still crash a lot? I'm a bit weary of buying early access games but I want to get a head start in making Conan mods.

They usually patch in bug fixes once a day.  Its a lot more stable now.  I personally have not crashed while in game in over a week.  There are already a good handful of mods for the game available also.

I have been downloading them from Steams Workshop.  Not the best of place but until I find more on say someones tumblr or what not that's only place I have found mods for the game so far.

Just start playing this game last night. Completely love it. The survival aspect of the game is a breath of fresh air compared to the stale old game play in Bethesda titles.

I gotta ask. I searched online and it says it's not an MMORPG. But is it a MMO? Or is it a single player game with the option to connect to servers to play with others?

Others can play with you. I think they can connect directly to your game. I'm not sure how it work as I've only been playing by myself.

Not sure. Some people say it can be but I haven't been able to.

You can set up a personal server and you and your friends play on it.  You can play on one of the official servers, make sure to favorite it so you can easily find it later, and play with and against others.  There are ways to play it " offline " but seeing as how doing it can alter the game files more then I am willing to do, I have yet to try it.  They are listening and reading the community hub and forums about bugs and many features that are either not in or are glitching out.  As far as a stable game goes it is by far one of the most stable ones I have been playing.  Add on top of that that the actual company listens, that just makes it better.  They also recently did a huge update.   

And the modding community for it is slowly growing.  Not thousands of mods, but a good chunk.
