endgameaddiction Posted Monday at 03:39 PM Posted Monday at 03:39 PM (edited) I remember back in the day when I knew very little about PC hardware. Seems like it was yesterday. I think you were one of the few who broke it down to me over on LL over a decade ago. lol Had I not learned, I wouldn't have ever built a PC 3 years ago. I was always fascinated by the idea of building one, but it was always intimidating. That fear overwhelmed me for a very long time. Though, I have to admit that I sure picked the worse time to build one. But even now, GPU prices are just stupid high. Edited Monday at 03:45 PM by endgameaddiction 1 Quote

Though, I have to admit that I sure picked the worse time to build one. But even now, GPU prices are just stupid high. GPU pricing should be a quarter to at most half the cost of the computer. So if your motherboard, processor, ram, hard drive, case and power supply cost 2000 dollars the GPU should be 500 dollars but that isnt' what is happening now. There are 2500 dollar (and more) cost for CONSUMER GRAPHICS CARDS. Look I know professional graphic cards can easily go into the thousands of dollars. You need it for graphing and such for your job, that is one thing. NO consumer graphics card should cost that much. That is just INSANE. Yes I remember you asked me some questions on a build you were interested in as well as some tech solutions to problems you had. It was some time ago. Quote
ritualclarity Posted Monday at 10:42 PM Author Posted Monday at 10:42 PM In case you need a new computer and not make it insane price (for anyone that is in that boat and don't have an idea and wants to pay a reasonable amount. Notice how they were able to get a decent result from their 1000 dollar gaming PCs? Their cards were 500 dollars or less. NO need for 3500 dollar cards Quote
