Nailos18 Posted February 4, 2017 Posted February 4, 2017 It has gore, nudity, offensive language ( in the conan world ) slavery and sheer fun! For anyone to complain about a dick slider should just be slapped when there are more " pressing " issues they should take offense to. But all in all, people need to realize that games are FICTION!!!! 1 Quote
ritualclarity Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Yes... slapped with the dick with the dick slider all the way up... lol. People have private parts it is natural. That shouldn't offend. I find it strange that people are all up in arms about the dick slider when there was a boob slider in Skyrim and the game is brutal. Slavery is one of the requirements to be successful from what I can see from the videos. Hell yo have to put them on a "breaking wheel" to get them to follow you. A "BREAKING WHEEL". not only are you enslaving them but you are also torturing them. Nobody is batting an eye on that only hate on a dick slider. Quote

LOL It isn't big enough until women scream ... "Get that fucking thing away from me"... It is too big when a porn star states... "No fucking way I am going to work with that"... That is one huge dick if that happens All jokes aside, the videos being uploaded show more than just slider made penis. It shows a pretty good body texture and structure don't you think Kendo, Doublezero? For the most part what is there is pretty well made if compared to Bethesda textures, meshes. Quote
Karma199696 Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 yeah... it seems like the game is already been modded ! Quote
ritualclarity Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 That is what happens when a game is being developed properly... at least so far. Quote
j.columbo Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 If anyone is interested, a Minomimi, a Skyrim modder some may remember from Lover's Lab and for the colour purple (nb. not the film; he just likes purple...), ahem sorry, well he's an interesting duck, running a You-Toobers Life, and has taken a interest in Conan Exiles, and somehow scraped together enough to run a server... It might get interesting. He should be an excellent administrator. He's certainly aware, hyper-aware actually, of the politics of this sort of thing. Here he is inaugurating "Minou's Kingdom". tt. I was thinking about starting a server myself but right now I have my hands full with this site. I am considering making forums for those who are running a Conan Exiles server. If he's interested in it let me know. 2 Quote
Doublezero Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 Quote Conan Exiles recoups development costs in a week on Steam Early Access Norwegian developer Funcom struggled for years creating a hit game. Age of Conan didn't quite do it, nor did The Secret World, nor did Lego Minifigures Online. Things got tough. But Funcom may have at last found the hit in new sandbox survival game Conan Exiles. Conan Exiles sold 320,000 units on Steam Early Access in one week, priced £26.99. It has already recouped development costs, according to a Funcom statement. CEO Rui Casais commented: "Funcom has gone through some challenging times in recent years and seeing the game we have poured so much time and effort into gain this amount of traction so quickly is very invigorating for everyone who works here. "This is just the start of the Early Access adventure and we will do whatever it takes to make sure Conan Exiles turns into a fully-fledged game that has something to offer new and old fans of both Conan and survival games." http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2017-02-10-conan-exiles-recoups-development-costs-in-a-week-on-steam-early-access 1 Quote
Doublezero Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Conan Exiles plans up to seven 'significant' updates during 12-month Early Access period Quote Despite notable server issues at launch, Funcom's Conan Exiles managed to shift 320,000 copies after just one week in Early Access. The developer has now released a financial briefing which suggests the open-world survival game has sold 480,000 copies in the last 28 days—shy of its 12 month sales goal of 487,000. Moving forward, incremental patches are expected to roll out every fortnight, as well as up to seven "significant" updates between now and the game's full release in early 2018. Speaking to the former, 'Regular Patches' will focus on performance and stability adjustments, alongside bug fixing so as to "continuously polish the game experience". So-called "Quick Win" features are small additions that will be implemented against requests from the game's community. Game updates, on the other hand, will be less frequent but will bring with them significant changes. The examples given by the financial briefing include Trebuchet and Siege weapons, a Dye system, and mounts—à la Ark: Survival Evolved. "The current plan is for four to six Game Updates during the Early Access period," so reads the briefing. "[This includes] two to three game updates during H1 2017, two to three Game updates during H2 2017, [and] one Game Update during Q1 2018." http://www.pcgamer.com/conan-exiles-plans-up-to-seven-significant-updates-during-12-month-early-access-period/ Does the game still crash a lot? I'm a bit weary of buying early access games but I want to get a head start in making Conan mods. Quote
Nailos18 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 They usually patch in bug fixes once a day. Its a lot more stable now. I personally have not crashed while in game in over a week. There are already a good handful of mods for the game available also. 1 Quote
ritualclarity Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Cool, do you have some links for these mods? Advise for a mod? use them? Quote
Nailos18 Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 I have been downloading them from Steams Workshop. Not the best of place but until I find more on say someones tumblr or what not that's only place I have found mods for the game so far. Quote
ritualclarity Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Any good ones from there you can advise those that are playing this game? Quote
Doublezero Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Just start playing this game last night. Completely love it. The survival aspect of the game is a breath of fresh air compared to the stale old game play in Bethesda titles. 1 Quote
Kendo 2 Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Is it stable? Can you do single player? Quote
Doublezero Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 I haven't had any crashes yet and you can do single player. Quote
Guest Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 I gotta ask. I searched online and it says it's not an MMORPG. But is it a MMO? Or is it a single player game with the option to connect to servers to play with others? Quote
Doublezero Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Others can play with you. I think they can connect directly to your game. I'm not sure how it work as I've only been playing by myself. Quote
Kendo 2 Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Can it be played off-line or do you have to be connected to one of their servers? *using DZ like a wiki page at this point* Quote
Doublezero Posted September 3, 2017 Posted September 3, 2017 Not sure. Some people say it can be but I haven't been able to. Quote
Nailos18 Posted September 5, 2017 Posted September 5, 2017 You can set up a personal server and you and your friends play on it. You can play on one of the official servers, make sure to favorite it so you can easily find it later, and play with and against others. There are ways to play it " offline " but seeing as how doing it can alter the game files more then I am willing to do, I have yet to try it. They are listening and reading the community hub and forums about bugs and many features that are either not in or are glitching out. As far as a stable game goes it is by far one of the most stable ones I have been playing. Add on top of that that the actual company listens, that just makes it better. They also recently did a huge update. And the modding community for it is slowly growing. Not thousands of mods, but a good chunk. Quote
