There are problems with Windows updates bricking PCs overseas.

We're using a licensed 2017 UK version of Windows 10 at the shop (back from when we were doing work for Northsea Oil and SaudiAramco).  If anything weird happens I'll post it here.

LOL. Heard that quite a few morons who not only use this spyware OS but also want to keep it up-to-date have already the bricked their SSDs with this update and are now unable to even see the drive, let alone recover their files. On top of that both M$ and Phison apparently are currently in denial mode. How so very "Millennial"! Ahahaha! 🤣

Certainly wasn't the first time a Windows 1x update broke or brick something, but of course no one's going to learn anything from this again... To people still using Windows 1x, don't blame anyone, this is precisely the OS you DESERVE...

He only performed a basic analysis of the StatCounter data. From what I've seen, the majority of Windows 7's market share gains are in Japan and Germany. It would be hilarious if people were really going back to Windows 7 instead of 11, and I could see Microsoft going after websites that host Windows ISOs. Of course, this assumes that the StatCounter data is correct.

There is new bullshit happeing now.

I am getting a warning about windoze being outdated and giving a countdown. Now if that happened on the actual windoze computer that would be one thing but it is happening on a windoze 11 computer. A WINDOWS 11 computer. Now lets fill in some background. This is a work computer. At work they have NO WINDOWS 10 MACHINES.  Get that. So it can't be that they are seeing my computer and knowing there is a windows 10 machine on the system. There aren't any. I had to shut that down mutiple times today when I opened anything related to microsoft. (I believe mostly Outlook) for work. A blue bar across the top that messes with the information and other stuff. You have to address it if you want full control and get to business.

Seriously, they need to go out of business and their source code released so that other operatiing systems that respect people can access it and make it compatable for older windoze software.
