  1. How do I "unhide" a blog entry? Or a post for that matter? Hiding a blog or a post seems to prevent other members as well as the owner of the blog/post from accessing it, which is practically the same as deleting it unless you are moderator who can somehow access it. So, it's kind of pointless to have that functionality unless you give the user an option to bring it back.
  2. If you want to recreate your ME1 character from scratch in ME2 by converting slider values into a ME2 face code, here's how to do it. It's very simple, but you need to know what the slider values were for your ME1 character. Note 1: ME2 skips the letter 'O' when generating the face code, in other words when you bring the slider (e.g. neck thickness) to position 24, the game encodes it with the letter 'P' in the face code, instead of 'O' (e.g. M(22)->N(23)->P(24) ). The letter 'O' isn't used in the face code. Not sure why they did it this way, I'm just letting you know to prevent confusion. Note 2: I have made an Excel spreadsheet that does this automatically which you can download from the link below and use it either with MS Excel or Google Docs (by importing it) and you can then use it to generate ME2 face code for your own characters. Simply fill in the slider values on white columns as in the examples given in the spreadsheet and ME2 face code will be generated automatically underneath that column, which you can then copy. Link for the Excel spreadsheet: Mass Effect Face Code Generator (ME1 to ME2).7z By the way, in case you're wondering why one should bother with all this, the "imported" character in ME2 is not entirely the same as the one generated by using the face code or created from scratch by using the ME2 sliders. In other words, if you import the character from your ME1 saves, it'll be ever so slightly different than the one you create from scratch, because there are some differences in how these two games handle character assets and sliders. Note 3: You probably won't need any of this for the "legendary" version for two reasons, first it already shows you the face code in ME1 and also, the new sliders are most likely incompatible with the original games, so I wouldn't bother trying if I were you. CONVERSION TABLE: Example: Below are the slider values and the corresponding face code values according to the conversion table given above. Note that * is the value for the scar slider which isn't supported in ME2. Now let's put all these values into groups of three and add a dot between each group in order to form the face code, ignoring the value for the scar slider (*)... ME2 Face Code: 753.WCG.G1C.C1A.FGG.11K.11A.A11.GG6.5B4.9G4.616 Here's how it looks like in ME2: PS. If you want to get ME1 slider values from a ME2 face code (i.e. the opposite of the method described here) you can use this tool here.
  3. I couldn't have said it any better. However, that doesn't change the fact that it can be used as a weapon, in fact, having it makes things easier for people to become douche bags.
  4. I think kill moves, like in FNV or Skyrim, can still be done in a FP game, but that would be just a visual or cosmetic thing. It wouldn't be as fun as doing the actual fight yourself.
  5. Am I the only one who hate rating posts? I think this post rating system (or the "likes") is a disease introduced by the social media (i.e. cancer). Don't know about you but I don't like it, I don't want to use it. I'd rather like to see a few words instead of a "like". Don't LIKE this post, please!
  6. GOG sells DA:O Ultimate Edition, I wonder if they fixed their version, but I doubt it. I don't plan to buy it though as I already have 4 versions of DA:O. If ME comes to GOG with full set of DLCs, which I doubt, I might reconsider buying them once again but only if they've removed this SecuROM shit.
  7. Unfortunately it's not just LL. Wherever idiots are allowed to talk, cancer takes over the place. Some people are just like the Mouth of Sauron, they have a mouth that isn't attached to a brain or attached to someone else's.
  8. Does it also have a shit DRM? I've only played TS2 and it was such a piece of shit, I could barely run it. I would accept 20 to 40% CPU usage on the initial menu screen if the game has an animated menu as in ME or DA:O, but 80-100% is just fucking stupid.
  9. Don't know if any of you remember the time when I mentioned the retarded Bioware fanboys who claimed that it was *normal* for Mass Effect (or Dragon Age Origins) to cause extremely high CPU usage (up to 100%) even when you're still on the initial menu screen? Let's have a look at it once more and see if we can find the cause... The game seems to run a SecuROM related thread (despite the fact that it was supposed to be removed) which takes up 50% of CPU cycles. These screenshots are taken from the Steam's version of Mass Effect. I don't currently have DA:O installed and I wonder if the situation is the same. I bet it is. Mind you, I had to do an ALT+TAB to take these screenshots and as you can see, the game continues to run at full speed even when its window is not currently active (not focused). This is probably a proof that either these games weren't designed for PCs in mind or whoever programmed it wasn't very bright.
  10. Ever wondered how a game dev can populate a planet size map with different settlements, buildings, interiors, even NPCs, flora and fauna etc.? An impossible task when done by hand. Why not utilize machine learning and let the computer do it for you?
  11. This is another cyberpunk game in the making, which is called Living Dark. From what I understand, it's kind of a side-scroller type game which I'm not interested in. The reason why I post the video is that you'll never have this kind of cool hand to hand combat in a 1st person only game like CP2077, which is a shame really.
  12. Good, these fanboys who shell out money for that crap deserve much worse.
  13. She's literally a meme girl: https://knowyourmeme.com/memes/people/belle-delphine "Ahegao Faces"... and obviously an hentai fan.
  14. I thought you didn't like the anime waifu types.
  15. So now they are the "vocal minority"?
  16. Is that the meme girl I keep seeing on YT thumbnails? What's her story? Another Twitch THOT?
  17. Wow, that holiday emote bundle has never been sold at $2400! https://twitter.com/FalloutGirl____/status/1074434233211314178 Bethesda is the new king of false advertising... or lies I should say. I wonder if the idea was Todd's.
  18. You know, I would suggest pirating the shit out these games, but they aren't even worth pirating. That's the world we live in now, shit games not even worth pirating and yet people still pay for them and even pay to buy shitty in-game times and then get mad when we call them retards... what else could they be?
  19. Wow, the game is sold at $40 and a shitty Christmas outfit is $20!? They've gone crazy.
  20. Well, we all knew what LL was. Isn't that the reason why we're here now and not there. I don't understand why you had to go to the trouble just to confirm that once more. If you have to go to LL, know that it's best enjoyed as "read-only", with a huge ignore list. I had two forums back in the early 2000's. Besides spammers, I never banned anyone even when things got personal, and I'm not a very tolerant person at all. That should tell you something about LL moderators and their inflated egos. Just before I left LL, I had made myself a signature saying something like "Welcome to Lover's Lab, a porn site as well as a kindergarten." just to mock the heavy-handed moderation and it got deleted fairly quickly.
  21. If you look at the file header in a HEX editor you'll notice the signature of 52 61 72 21 1A 07 01, which shows that these are RAR5 files (newer RAR format). While Kendo_2's_Type3_Body_Pack.rar has a different signature, 52 61 72 21 1A 07 00, which is RAR4 or older. So there WAS a change at some point. I have a registered version of Winrar 4.20 which I've been using for years, and it obviously doesn't support RAR5 format, which was the problem here. If there's an option to use RAR4 file format or legacy versions I'd suggest using it to make the archives more compatible. Or just compress them as 7z. https://www.ghacks.net/2013/04/29/winrar-5-0-introduces-the-new-rar-5-format-what-you-need-to-know/ Also: "7-Zip 9.20 supports RAR 2/3/4 formats only and doesn't support RAR5 archives. But latest versions of 7-Zip supports RAR5 archives." That's why I couldn't open them with version 9.20.
  22. For some reason the download speed is really slow for the 3rd file, it's about 15 KB/sec. I keep canceling it and restarting. The other two open fine. Both Winrar and 7zip can open them. Still waiting for the 3rd file to finish. Edit: Okay, all fine now. I can open all 3 files without any problem.
  23. I can open it.
  24. Okay.
  25. Can't open that either. Do you have 7zip? May I see the compression parameters screen in Winrar?
