  1. I don't think so. Too many support Bethesda for it to have an impact on them financially. But I'm curious to see how much in sales they lose with the refunds. I still think Bethesda missed the opportunity to hire Obsidian devs back in the days when they were still part of Zenimax. And I mean way back in 2012 when they went through a bunch of lay offs and were on the brink of collapse if it wasn't for their success with POE. They both could've worked on a east coast and west coast Fallout and everyone would be happy. Well, not everyone. But a lot of people would've gotten their next Obsidian Fallout. Maybe through MS that may happen again. Only time will tell. But had they acquired those devs, SF maybe would've been much better? But then there would be two space games. Outer World and Starfield. Not sure if one or the other would've existed if that were the case.
  2. They/Them is just giving them an inch. Wouldn't surprise me in their next game they include the hundreds of made up pronouns just to please the woke even more.
  3. I thought it was comical to see how awful the AI and animations are in SF compared to RDR2. This is the best of what Bethesda has to offer. Always a decade or two behind.
  4. The second video. That's the one I saw growing up.
  5. I don't know if this is from the game settings or low quality video, but I've noticed this with Fallout 4 as well. Why do the characters look like they are made out of clay? lol
  6. I'd like to include some. Facial expressions more white people It's so obvious they are trying to gain some woke XP as their desperation shows. And those awful terrible face expressions aren't helping those ugly faces.
  7. That is just sad. This just looks like a Fallout 4 DLC in space to me.
  8. The face expression are so terrible. It's the adoring fan from Oblvion as Doublezero mentioned. The same voice actor for the birthday boy, Sticky in Light Lamplight Cavern in Fallout 3, the daedric prince, Peryite in Skyrim. And various other characters for all 3 of those games.
  9. https://www.dexerto.com/starfield/starfield-players-mock-facial-expressions-as-if-characters-are-on-meth-2274711/ I mean, I've always noticed the exaggeration of the raised eyebrows from the black male character they showed in their trailer, but I thought maybe it would just be him alone.
  10. You guys notice the weird eyebrow jump during their badly face expressions while talking. It's a bit exaggerated. Seems like all the NPCs do that as I've seen quite a few from watching gameplay footage.
  11. That all depends on the team/studio and their intent with their game using UE5. Seems like all studios that do use UE5 for their games can release an editor to the public and it all depends how depth the editor is that they release. If it's anything like REDkit, then it's meh... I don't see them migrating from their Creation Engine to Unreal Engine. They are always going to stick to what works for them and just add in new coding and slap a new name on the engine as they go on. They are certainly able to, but I don't think they want to invest the time to do that unless they do it with one of their branches at a time.
  12. Looks like an editor is within it. How depth it is for coding and such, I wouldn't know. Yet at least. https://www.unrealengine.com/en-US/blog/new-example-project-and-plugin-for-mod-support-released
  13. And speaking of... I just found this video... The last game... Starfield obviously isn't on UE5. I guess he threw it in there as a bonus. But none of them are like Fallout other than the first clip that looks closer to New Vegas.
  14. Would look good, but even if it was, I don't think it would change my opinion of the game's world. But it would definitely look good.
  15. I would love to see another studio create a wasteland game.
  16. The intent of this topic is to open up a discussion about UE5.
  17. haha! Rangers not playing around. It gets good at 9:35.
  18. Good. There's nothing wrong with implementing racism or xenophobia in a video game. Isometric doesn't bother me since I've played plenty of games with it. And seeing that it's also turned-based combat is a plus for me.
