    This is an answer I got when asking what punk has to do with any of these subgenres. The name was derived from the term cyberpunk and was coined by author K. W. Jeter. Fringe societies or the concept of anarchy are often themes in these books, so yes, there can be a "punk" element to the genre.

    So as I continue to jot down ideas for my story I'm writing, I was curious about adding some steampunk into it. I enjoy the concept of it, but what really doesn't make any sense to me is, I don't see anything punk about it. I've always seen it as a fictional futuristic retro world of steam combustion technology mixed with the Victorian era. I can understand cyberpunk, but not steampunk.     If that quest is supposed to be some inside joke, I sure missed it. And even if it was, I doubt I would find is humorous. This is like the equivalent of the child ghoul locked inside a fridge for over 200 years in FO4.

    Looks kind of close to the Fallout leather armor in 3 and NV. Maybe a skimpy modded version.

    I used to use his Open Cities mod for a long time. I eventually stopped using it because he injected his own crap into it that were not only unnecessary, it was out of place and just stupid, period. And that was putting the Oblivion gate shaped in stones in Whiterun. I could've easily removed them in TES5Edit and delete models and textures from the folders to not clog up more space, but I just didn't want to bother. It's like making one of those mods where you just add crap to a game world for the sake of adding it because you think it's cool. Maybe in the future, if I decide to use that mod again, I will remove that crap.

    Obsidian needs to stop ass kissing Bethesda as they have all these years to try and get on their good side to be able to make another Fallout. They need to make their own Fallout/Post-Apoc RPG with heavy mod support so they can make Fallout look like the joke that it has become. Obsidian's problem is they can't let go of the past and let Fallout go. They have far better talented devs. It's not impossible to come up with a different RPG system for the game. Bethesda clearly has zero respect for them. It was pretty clear during the development of New Vegas. They deliberately wanted New Vegas to fail. And constantly being compared to Obsidian and their Fallouts compared to New Vegas sure has made them extremely bitter. They can hide it all they want by not expressing it, but their actions, (or lack thereof) says it all. Time to move on and stop trying to get on Bethesda's good side. They are bitter that New Vegas made as much noise as it did given the amount of development it has.

    lol I know. I did a bunch for a while. Good thing is, you could get some really cool ideas for armor and clothing.
