What is more believable is that YT is able to control, literally, change views on videos at their whims. Years ago there was programs that protected children. Sites would add themselves to the list and those that had this setup on their computers wouldn't be able to access this content. I forget the name. It worked. YT adding themselves to the same age checks would easily be done by setting themselves up with a system that would flag the content, and this program/setup wouldn't allow such content to be added. The parents, you know, those that protect their children ... as it should be. Would set this up on the child's computer (and any computer that children would use, like at school or libraries. The problem would be solved. The drawback was sites that had adult content wouldn't join. A simple law and penalty would resolve that. No need for this added bullshit. This is all about control. They can give two shits about the children. The government has never cared about the children. Edited August 1 by endgameaddiction Quote

Totally violates privacy. I mean they can do it to a degree currently with the various systems in place but you can be somewhat hidden. With this, nope. I don't see how you can be hidden. Quote
ritualclarity Posted August 3 Posted August 3 WTF Youtube! I signed in your stupid app and still you won't let the embedded videos play? Seriously, are you trying to be assholes more so than you have been over the past couple of years? I'm tired of jumping through your stupid hoops righ click and open in another tab bullshit. Most of the bullshit you show isn't worth it. Quote

Secondary essential services shouldn't be able to dictate polices that will prevent others from doing what they want that is perfectly legal. I wouldn't have a problem with a payment process not allowing such a thing in their system if there were other options that would work that are the same. The problem is they have a monopoly in payment processes. This is a comment in regard to those that will say that the payment processors have the right as well as those game platforms to state what they want to do / serve. Quote

endgameaddiction Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Britney Hughs at MRC TV has always been a breath of fresh air. While I don't necesarily agree with everything that she sometimes talks about i.e. relgion, because I consider myself agnostic, her straight forwardness has always been appealing to me. I like a woman who isn't afraid to say it like it is and not be apologeetic about it, while still being kind, curteous, and ladylike. Quote
endgameaddiction Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Also, I'd like to think that "great genes" is a great move to troll the left because they get incredibly mad about anything. They aren't happy if they aren't mad about something for the day. imagine being happy because your are mad about something. Definitely not oxymoron at all... Quote
ritualclarity Posted August 15 Posted August 15 And American Eagle is unapologetic The great thing is the Woke crowd is actually helping the advertisement by being outraged. 1 1 Quote
vancleef Posted August 15 Posted August 15 I think the funniest part about this entire "outrage" is, it's business as usual and the Woke Crowd doesn't get it. Corporations have always had ads featuring attractive people to sell their stuff. I mean, how many companies lost literally hundreds of millions in revenue after going Woke? Budweiser, Gillette, Harley Davidson, Target and that's just off the top of my head. There's no way they're going to keep supporting it because less than ten percent of the country might not buy their shit. This country stood up and shut down that Cultural Shift hard and emphatic in the last election. There are lot of people who probably don't like Trump but voted for him because that was the only way to stop this slide. The corporations see that more than anyone else and know that to keep the money coming in, they better play to the bigger audience. Quote

ritualclarity Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I just went ot Walgreens. I don't go there often, and even less just browse. While there, I saw dozens of lock boxed products. A dam Febrese air freshener that is less than 5 dollars was behind a lock box. Deodorant was also behind a lock box. WTF? This Walgreens is in a low crime area. People leave their garage open with their bikes and expensive yard tools there. (they at least some of those that I know in the area have cameras in there ) I can't imagine how bad it is in a high crime area. Oh, and they were racially profiling HARD, I can tell you. Holy shit, they were in high mode. Lol, while completely ignoring "others" like me. If I saw me and what I was wearing and doing. I would have seriously watched me, but that wasn't the case here. At least for a bit until they see my actions and rule out any bad intentions. ( I often look like a bum as I am lazy and don't really care what I look like most of the time. lol ) Constant ringing of the intercom to send help to x place and y place in the store so customers could get what they want. Why don't they just have it in a secured, locked place and hand out flyer in the location to bring to the register and then pull the product for the customer? Maybe even convert from a store to a internet related store with few items present for the customer to gap (impulse items with high margins) and the rest ordered using QR codes or better yet their website / app? Then gather it up and bring it to the customer. Quote
