    The original Devi were made a looooooong time ago and even when I’m sure it didn’t crashed anyone’s computer nor punched a hole in the ozone layer it had countless errors. So I imported the .mqo into Blender and “fixed and cleaned” the mesh replacing triangles for quads, adapting the shape to the Impossible Feet 2.0 and generating a new UV while trying not to go crazy with the polycount. The result is way smoother, patterns look better and it has more detail with only a 2k increase in polygons Compatible with the default body, MedBod and any other custom body mesh that follows the original leg seam

    Texture pixelation the closer you look and stretching depending on weight and animation This works exactly as the original meaning the revealing part is just “half-way” which sometimes looks weird under custom animation and/or when your sim bends its body to the max Slight clipping on the thighs but shouldn’t be an issue unless you zoom in Notes:
    It looks like a simple garment but it has a modified mesh for the legs so the first time I attempted an edit I only modified the texture and removed the top I made a version with the suspenders “removed” so it works like a skirt, kinda Also made three pairs of very simple stockings that matches the garment’s height, I didn’t want to invest a lot of time so I recycled a couple of designs and compiled everything under one package.     This was supposed to be my very first release made entirely on Blender (also it was the “testbed” for the Impossible Feet 2.0) but it had serious problems like deforming the legs and looking awful, so it was frozen for 14 months The untouched polycount was +18k which caused clipping in the fat morph, after optimizing it to 15k everything went back to normal so it seems there’s still some issues on my side when doing “high-poly” footwear in Blender I do several tests before releasing anything but if you find anything wrong, besides what’s listed, please let me know I also made a “stripped down” version because why not?     Blockiness all around Boots look “weird” on CAS, in-game looks fine Some shading issues around the ankle Texture/pattern stretching and deformation depending on animation and sim’s proportions (specially behind the knee) I ironed most of the clipping issues, at least for normal simming, I cannot say the same for custom animations because I don’t test all of them Also potential clipping with floor and furniture 3D accessories that contain morphs, like necklaces, might deform boots Notes:
    Being from Sims Medieval (ArisLongBootsRoyalJacket) I naively thought adapting these boots to MedBod would be easy… The thing is Medieval integrates footwear and garments into one so the boots don’t have all the vertices legs normally do and that creates a lot of clipping in Sims 3 After adding geometry and scaling the mesh the result isn’t as sleek compared to the original, one benefit is both MedBod and EA’s legs fit nicely On the EA side you can mix this with mini-skirts, shorts and “texture pants” (like those leggings from Into the Future), anything else that touches the knees and below will clip. On the MedBod side the boots are compatible with legs and future skirts Custom bodies with a different leg shape will probably clip like hell Finally I changed the ‘OverlayPriority’ option inside the CASP, instead of using ‘0x00000005’, like normal boots do, it uses ‘0x00000007’ (shoes), this fixes issues with texture pants.
