    Being from Sims Medieval (ArisLongBootsRoyalJacket) I naively thought adapting these boots to MedBod would be easy… The thing is Medieval integrates footwear and garments into one so the boots don’t have all the vertices legs normally do and that creates a lot of clipping in Sims 3 After adding geometry and scaling the mesh the result isn’t as sleek compared to the original, one benefit is both MedBod and EA’s legs fit nicely On the EA side you can mix this with mini-skirts, shorts and “texture pants” (like those leggings from Into the Future), anything else that touches the knees and below will clip. On the MedBod side the boots are compatible with legs and future skirts Custom bodies with a different leg shape will probably clip like hell Finally I changed the ‘OverlayPriority’ option inside the CASP, instead of using ‘0x00000005’, like normal boots do, it uses ‘0x00000007’ (shoes), this fixes issues with texture pants.     Yep this is another version of Thigh High Boots with several twists The original is a foot mesh that extends a texture along the leg, this one has leg part modeled that connects to the rest and gives volume, plus a little more detail thanks to the use of a normalmap Beside making the mesh I moved the original texture 8-10 pixels down, because the boot and the leg both share the same texture and without this some ‘pixels’ might appear where the footwear ends Another solution is to scale down the whole textures, but that reduces quality and requires more time The only way to avoid clipping was to model the leg portion using the same vertices and proportions as the infamous MedBod, that means these boots will clip badly on the default body and any other custom mesh Because I’m lazy I skipped the version for teens (it would require their own custom mesh, aka start over again instead of just scaling down), maybe next year Credits:

    This is similar to Pepper Boots in terms of build: I subdivided the mesh and modified the shape. The difference is I created my own soles and heel and modified the color channels to expand customization.     The prior version was a concoction of meshes and textures from the game, this time I only borrowed two textures: S4’s Dress Panels for the corset and from S3’s bunny costume I took the textures from the tail Made to be used with MedBod 1.9’s bottoms The corset should be compatible with the default naked bottoms and also skirts, shorts and pants made by Electronic Arts; be aware I don’t test every single pair and the more volume the garment has around the hips the bigger the chance it will clip The “simpler” version allows the use of texture accessories like this, this or this and many more. If you know how to make mods you can attach your own leotard / corset or even you own mesh, I left some space on the UV map (just clear the texture) For obvious reasons the Simpler version will show a visible gap on the hip with everything not named Medbod 1.9 Rabbit ears are compatible with the hat sliders meaning you can change position and scale Pantyhose compatible with the default naked body, MedBod, and any other custom mesh that follows the original UV map Credits:

    The first time I took this project was to make a “2d accessory” from the main texture, leaving behind a ruffled stripe around the hip and a 3d bow, that was a long time ago This time I returned those two decorations creating some kind of hybrid in the process, the first prototype was an upper garment but it couldn’t use a normalmap for extra detail (well, it could at the expense of a visible line around the hip) so it was changed to a full body outfit Credits:

    So the whole sleeves from the original were too distracting so I changed the shape and just for fun I did a sleeveless version I got rid of the original overlay over the sleeves Also I replaced the chest with MedBod’s latest and using Blender’s knife tool I made it a better fit for the garment, than means clipping on shoulders should be eliminated Finally I convert it from body garment to tops and added some space behind the hip so now tight skirts, pants, shorts and the default naked bottom should be compatible. Remember, I don’t test every single pair and there’s a slight chance for texture conflict plus some custom animations flex the body a little too much to avoid clipping Credits:

    This garment came from ‘Midnight Hollow’ it was a full dress and, as you can see, was reduced to a corset in just one take, first time it happens (I normally do between 3 and 10) ‘SimplerVer’ is exactly the same sans neck and wrists and has 3 color channels instead of 4 Compatible with just a few bottoms made by Electronic Arts I’m talking about very, very skintight pants, skirts, shorts, etc.; anything with the smallest of volume behind the hip will inevitably clip. Of course the latest MedBod doesn’t have this problem (yet, I still have to make some skirts for it, eventually)

    I really think this type of garment would be almost impossible to make on Milkshape, you need to cut the torso in a very specific way to avoid most clipping, not mentioning keeping the UV intact Compatible with most pants, skirts and shorts made by EA and maybe other creators and of course MedBod Credits:
