  1. The issue likely isn't related to the packaging as the files were and are in the correct place. It is likely MO and its' virtual folder bug. There is a massive amount of files being created and dumped into MO. It isn't designed to run that level of files being added to the virutal folder and is crashing it. I will try later to have the out put somewhere else then copy the files back later. (texture files) That might perhaps solve the problem. My computer is moving too fast lol. Same with TTW. 5~8 minutes and I am done ready to play. ;). There are a few mods that might be suggested to add later. I am however keeping this as closely as possible to your tutorial. I did or am having problems with the prama perks freezing as well even withthe edited .jar. will check that later as well.
  2. I imagine once it is stable and fully functional it could be spread to other gamebro type games like I mentioned :). and you stated they could and it should be easy enough to add a more "universal" script extender. More of a level playing field. I checked the page and it appears that it is set up to find the MW Data folder. If that is the case then it could also do that with other games supported along with Universal script extender you could have your character survive (as a vampire from MW through Skyrim ;). Moving from one game through the rest. Much like TTW could. Open source could also mean that it is possible that it could even be set up for 32/64 bit support as well. (which would cover Fallout 4 and other future TES games as well).
  3. I have been getting these issues at each level of the program. It don't close and the program waits for it to finsh. Is this normal from your experiences?
  4. http://hubpages.com/games-hobbies/How-to-use-Nexus-Mod-Manager-to-download-install-uninstall-and-manage-Skyrim-Oblivion-Morrowind-and-Witcher-2-mods# ^ (for you Elfprince) Someone created a pretty good page for reference. I know you collect them so I thought I'd add this to your collection, just created Not sure how to do it now, years ago it was just clicking somewhere (can't remember where lol) in the catagories and selecting "new" then placing the name you desire and then selecting mods for the new category
  5. I wonder if they eventually could move through the rest of Besthesda's games.. Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout NV, Skyrim etc.
  6. Oh, yea since you are new,we have a gallery. Perhaps you might take a few screenshots and post them here with info on where you went to get it to look so good
  7. Woot, Woot.. Most people are getting spoiled with MO. In reality OBMM and especially WyreBash are some pretty dam stable and functional mod managers. They are tanks in the mod managing world. Essentially the difference is they actually load the mods (and unload them) directly from the data folder. If you find something needed to be loaded afterwards. No problems just reinstall it. (as opposed to MO move up or down on the left side. ) That is essentially that. Mo has some useful tools to see conflicts in real time etc but WyreBash does to (I believe it does at least :P) From my understanding of the process MO isn't liking the Steam version of Oblivion. When this happens there isn't the same level of responsiveness or stability. Scripting mods for example likely will never fire. It is also likely that complex install instructions (installers etc for Bash, Obmm etc) won't fire properly as MO won't know what to do with the mods and instructions as it don't see or recognize the exe. Finally one manager with occasional use of another one then packaging the results up is fine when needed but the entire list of mod not only from one manager but from two different managers... fail to package up everything properly. and you will have hell to pay to find wont what went wrong and OBMM and I suspect WyrebAsh will start to freak if it don't see the files anymore (after they have been packed) like FOMM does or did. Now the best thing to do is encourage MO development to address the Steam and OBSE connectivity/recognition issues so that we can install them properly along with proper OBMM support to install Oblivion mods as well. (provided that isn't currently functional)
  8. No MO corrrect? All OBMM and Wyre Bash(OBMM only for those mods created for it)
  9. There are lots of options for this to install. I believe some notes on what to install would be useful.
  10. Hello Nay, glad you decided to come to our little corner of the web. We have quite some activity in the screens here and many that "'dabble' in moding n things". I think you will enjoy yourself here regardless of how strange you type
  11. Are you working on a replacment for Adorable Face? I am going to start working on that section. Had some work to do, didn't expect to take so much time with the previous section. Nexus was being stubborn and slow that day. :(. Normally I can download quite a bit faster.

  13. highlight the text etc you want to be in a spoiler. Then click on the "eye" in the tool bar You will see a box around the new content that has been placed in a spoiler. I helped and placed them in a spoiler for you
  14. @eugenenelson yea.. when you look at MO mods list it is upside down. This is normal.
  15. @Anatriax I have completed Phase 5 (finally, dam those are large mods :P). I have moved the files like you mentioned .. or so I believe I have. Attaching the mod list for review. Let me know if something is off. If it is all good perhaps it can be a reference for people getting this far. I tried to keep the order of installation in exact order you gave it then moved the needed mods as directed, avoiding moving any of the other mods.
  16. It takes time and patience and when you give it time and patience you get your own custom works that you created.
  17. @Anatriax :)... Yes.. just bothering you about that ... lol Hey it is so very hard to find anything wrong on the tutorial I have to start giving you these
  18. I was thinking if HappySparkles can't do the conversions or someone else here can't we have Kendo and HappySparkles that know what to do if someone was willing to start to try to learn.. perhaps ?
  19. Without a backplate the graphic card can start to warp in some systems. Reason it has one.
  20. Make sure you get the backplate if it don't come with it.
  21. The log on issue is really strange. I believe we need to wait until Anatriax has a chance to chime in. However I believe you are almost there and in that case encouraged me even more that my work on this installation will turn out good. (also means if you need to a 970 might just be the beast you need to upgrade to and will go you just fine for this and other games. ) I was getting some lag out in the dungeons and more in the city (too many people and texturtes etc) when using my old 660 2gb vram. Afterwards when changing over to the 970 ... butter. With all this talk about hardware. She might want to move this to its own thread.
  22. Maybe we might get some others here inspired to start doing conversions.
