As I have said before, you've already played the best games that these developers could ever make. There won't be a better game in the near future and as you can clearly see from the examples such as Bethesda, Bioware, CDPR etc., they've already proved that they can't even make more of the same anymore. Things will only get worse in the future, but besides the lack of imagination and talent of game developers, in the near future you'll realize that computer games aren't as enjoyable as they used to be. Loot boxes, items shops and other awful monetization schemes in every game, pesky always online DRMs, the lack of a decent operating system that isn't a malware/spyware, inflated hardware prices and so on, all of which are already here and will only get worse. Not to mention that the effects of climate change which will severely affect your life in every possible way, will make you reconsider if "gaming" is a viable hobby anymore. It's quite probable that some of you won't be playing TES 6 or Fallout 5, if they are ever made. You think this is all hyperbole? Come back and read this post again 10-15 years later, if this forum is still here that is.

Have the challenge questions (e.g. What's you favorite game/team?) been removed while logging in? I've logged in and out three times to test it and I've been asked any.

Nazeem should've been an assassination target in the DB quest line.

My favorite Skyrim voice actors are: 1. The slightly grumpy old man voice by Jim Cummings (Festus Krex, Vignar Gray-Mane, Olfrid Battle-Born, Dengeir of Stuhn, Donnel, Elgrim, Froki, Fultheim, Gunnar Stone-Eye, Guthrum, Herluin Lothaire, Logrolf the Willful, Nurelion, Rogatus Salvius, Sergius Turrianus, Skald the Elder, Styrr, Thadgeir, Ulfr the Blind, Wilmuth, Wuunferth the Unliving, etc.) 2. The haughty male and female High Elf voices. I guess that's because they often say something pretty funny.

Written by the very same brainlet most likely. A "surface ladder" must be something very unique and different than a regular ladder that takes you to the surface... What quality control? Isn't that a Bethesda game? Imagine hearing that line while trying to role-play as a Forsworn... Just checked the voice actor of this Nick (Valentine?) guy, he is the same guy who did the voices for Madanach, Belethor, Mercer Frey, Enthir, Clavicus Vile, Barbas and probably some others. One of the most annoying voices in Skyrim IMO. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Russell Edit: Speaking of Skyrim voice actors, I was never able to find out who did the voice for the Augur of Dunlain, but I'm pretty sure he is the same guy who did the voice for Malacath in the quest The Cursed Tribe. Any ideas?

Maybe what he really meant by that was taking the surface elevator (i.e. the thing that elevates surfaces) to the surface (that needs to be elevated).

Now, you might be wondering what else they could possibly "woke-ify", after introducing "dark elves" (imported from Africa) in Amazon's new LoTR, or the new Foundation series with gender swapped characters in a melanin-rich universe all in the name of forced "diversity", well, here's your answer... It'd be a shame if it doesn't feature genderfluid dragons...

A few of them may be real, but clearly not all, like this one for instance. Clearly signed up just to be able to post the URL of an escort service in a random thread. Do you occasionally cull these kinds of "members" or are they still counted as such? Don't know if the software supports it, but maybe you should introduce a post limit before allowing new members to post URLs. For instance, a five post limit would help filtering out the spammers.

I wonder how many of these so called "members" are just spammers and bots.

Bethesda: Let's make the Falmer totally blind! Bethesda: Let's also give them bows and arrows... *Falmer cannot detect the player even when the distance between them is less than a meter* *Falmer can hit the player in the head with a bow from hundred meters away* Fanboy: Makes sense.

"Once you've helped someone, they will like you."... Toddler level ideas accompanied by toddler level writing... I've had enough of their shit just by playing Skyrim, so FO4 is where I draw the line, to keep my sanity.

Karliah: This is the headquarters of the Nightingales... We've come to seek the edge we need to defeat Mercer Frey. Karliah: To hold any hope of defeating Mercer, we must have Nocturnal at our backs. *Player reluctantly becomes Nightingale* Player: Erm, I don't feel stronger? Karliah: With the Skeleton Key missing from the Twilight Sepulcher, I'm afraid Mercer's seen to it that none of us can benefit from Nocturnal's gifts. Player: WHAT!? It's baffling how some people, clearly with double digit IQs, can get paid to create this kind of garbage.

Here's a mod idea: Hulda tells you that Nazeem's been looking for bodyguards. Since you're a bit short on money, you decide to give it a go. You take Lydia and together, you go to see Nazeem for the job interview. It seems Nazeem's willing to employ both of you as his bodyguards on one condition, you will only use the uniforms and other equipment that he supplies and nothing else, cause he can't be seen around with a bunch of guards in poor quality equipment which might hurt his reputation, in other words, he wants to show off around the Cloud District with his new bodyguards. The pay is substantial, so you both accept the job. Next morning you both arrive at his farm to begin your new job. Nazeem greets you and gives you your new armor and weapons. The armor looks a bit skimpy but you don't pay much attention and put it on. Three of you then start walking towards Whiterun... In the following days, Nazeem's uniforms get skimpier and skimpier, he gets more and more confident around you and starts to order you around, seeing you don't object, his demands get bolder and bolder... Well, I leave the rest to your imagination, but I suppose you can see where this is going...

Game's price is irrelevant, it's false, misleading advertisement and against their "DRM-free" policy. https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2021-09-25-hitman-gog-release-sparks-drm-row-review-bombing-accusation They apparently added the following warning later on, but it clearly is in conflict with "No online connection required to play" and is certainly misleading. https://www.gog.com/game/hitman_game_of_the_year_edition

I think this, as a news item, pretty much belongs here, as the scumbags at CD Projekt / GOG is no longer worthy of separate threads IMO...

So, this guy, Gallus, somehow manages to keep a journal in the Falmer language, which is a language very few people can make sense of... and the only people in Skyrim who can do that is an old elf named Calcelmo... but he doesn't translate the journal for you... instead you go and make a copy of some random script (and by the way, how you knew that there was a Falmer script written in stone in Calcelmo's lab is a mystery), presumably written in this language and presumably with its translation in a known language, like some kind of Rosetta stone... hoping that, despite the limited vocabulary used in the script, this will help you to, at least, make some sense of what was written in this journal... You then take it to a college mage, who clearly doesn't know the language and he somehow figures out some of the stuff mentioned in the journal... including some very specific proper names of people and places... okay, you may have managed to sustain your disbelief so far, which is rather commendable... but then you take the journal to a bunch of filthy thieves... one of them, this fucktard called Brynjolf, takes the journal -written in the Falmer language- and quickly reads through it in a couple of seconds and figures it all out... ... ... You enter Markarth for the first time specifically to do the aforementioned quest... you are already sneaking and you immediately cast the invisibility spell... you immediately take the left path in order to avoid the usual "a forsworn murders some person" scene... you don't even witness the scene... you continue to sneak towards the Keep then you suddenly notice that you're being followed... by some fucktard called Eltrys, who's somehow been following you to give his fucking note, despite the fact that you're invisible... and not to mention you haven't even witnessed the event he and his bloody note is part of, and yet, he's there, following you, and mind you, it's way past midnight and you can barely see anyone in the dark... ... ... Just a small daily selection of idiocy from the "Legendary Edition" of Bugthesda's highest selling PC game and Todd's magnum opus... Edit: Just tried to sneak past the vigilant waiting in front of the "Abandoned House" while invisible... I suppose you can pretty much guess what happened next...

Another glimpse of the future... with Gen-Z... and mind you, these are supposed to be university students, future scientists and engineers etc. "the concept of file folders and directories, essential to previous generations’ understanding of computers, is gibberish to many modern students" https://www.theverge.com/22684730/students-file-folder-directory-structure-education-gen-z Now, think of all the brilliant scientific advancements and perhaps programs and video games etc. this generation will come up with... and despair.

Well, not allowing differing opinions would be slightly weird in this thread.

"Conservative voices" who have no problems with "censorship" itself, as long as it works in their favor. Also in Texas, by the very same retarded governor: https://www.texastribune.org/2021/05/18/texas-heartbeat-bill-abortions-law/ Sky AU = ultra biased right-wing propaganda tool

The Forsworn could have been the third faction of the civil war that the player can side with, but I guess that would be too much work for the lazy asses at Bugthesda.
