  1. Imagine a character creation screen, in which, instead of fiddling with sliders to browse through the premade assets, you verbally describe what kind of a character you want, just like in the videos above, and the AI generates the character for you from scratch, once you are satisfied with how she/he looks. All the body meshes, textures and everything. Yum, so mouth-watering... Too bad I won't live that long to play with it, but we're getting there.
  2. One of the reasons why I wanted to try Midjourney AI, was to try to create or re-imagine one of my game characters in a more photo realistic way, like a real person, using the /imagine command on Discord, as shown in the videos below. If you're okay with sharing your phone # to create a Discord account you might want to try it out too.
  3. Not a DC character I'm familiar with or have ever been interested in, not to mention I've never seen any shows/movies with her in it. I wouldn't be able to recognize her even if the sound recording was in perfect quality and sounded exactly like her. It's also a bit like saying someone "sounds like Batman", but which one, West, Keaton, Kilmer, Clooney, Bale...?
  4. Guess I'm in big trouble now, cause she doesn't sound like any real person or fictional character that I know of. Who is she? She sounds like a real person despite the poor sound quality. Edit: Ugh, never mind, it is a voice changer and that's cheating, I thought it was a text voiced by AI.
  5. Nah, I'd rather take my two sabre cats and head to the street to wait for my good death.
  6. Keep in mind that the free accounts that these AI companies offer are nothing but a basic demo and are pretty limited in what you can do. Despite that I wanted to try out Midjourney to create some AI art, was even willing to create a Discord account until they asked my phone number, fuck that. Anyway, let us know if you can find some interesting stuff.
  7. Thanks, I'll keep that in mind, as I'm the same age as Todd.
  8. Constantly avoiding negative emotions (e.g. getting offended by minor things) is one of the things that make people dumb. It's akin to skipping school on the days emotional training takes place.
  9. First Google, now Youtube, both completely broke the search functionality. Two massive corporations run by complete retards. Youtube search, which has already been shit, now completely ignores command filters like the dash (e.g. character creation -hogwarts). Why would I even use your shit if I won't be able to find what I'm looking for?
  10. @endgameaddiction I've recently been using an AI generated "voice pack" for the mod "Sexist Guards" in Skyrim and most of what you say is true for at least half of the AI generated talk, but occasionally the quality is indistinguishable from an actually voice acted line, which, by the way, makes the game quite amusing. When the overall quality of the AI generated speech is more of less the same and it doesn't sound robotic, I think it's preferable to not having speech at all. Procedures, training time and the quality of training sets are very important in AI based speech generation, so the quality will no doubt improve in the future. The only downside of using AI generated voices in games locally is the massive size of the generated sound files, which requires a significant amount of storage space and memory.
  11. "SHUT UP BACK THERE!"... Hilarious.
  12. ...as I have said many times before for decades... Imagine yourself arguing with people who defended Fallout 4's dialogue interface in an age of intelligent virtual assistants (Siri, Cortana etc.)... anyway, not gonna lecture you about that right now (though I might, later on), just gonna share some stuff related to this topic... Note that there's also a HUGE dilemma in the increasing use of AI in seemingly everything we do. It will create many social issues, massive unemployment etc. just like the Industrial Revolution, most likely will be far worse. It is another and definitely more important topic to discuss, but not in this thread, which is mainly for fun. Perhaps there won't be "a future" for video games, BECAUSE of AI, who knows... Edit: Human civilization will NOT survive the climate change, so perhaps we shouldn't worry about the AI either... well then let us enjoy our few remaining decades playing with AI... Skyrim - AI voiced dialogues (for the player and NPCs)... Morrowind - NPCs voiced by AI Fallout NV ChatGPT in Bannerlord (NPC dialogues thru AI)
  13. You gotta be joking.
  14. No offense but . Potter series were for little children, mainly the millennials, definitely doesn't interest me in the least.
  15. If you're calling that "insanity", it means you haven't had enough experience with humans yet. This planet is literally a madhouse.
  16. In a video called "Fallout's 25th Anniversary" there's not even a single mention of the creators of the original game, Cain, Boyarsky, Anderson or Fargo. How disrespectful.
  17. The idea of "folding space" had already been around long before this movie. For instance, it was already in Dune novel (1965) and in many other sci-fi books . The idea originates from the idea of wormholes obviously. Traveling through warmholes is pretty much identical to "folding space". In the novel Contact (1985) by Carl Sagan, there's a network of these wormhole nodes that the MC travels through, which were built by an unknown ancient alien race or something (which is pretty much the idea that the Mass Effect series copied). It's all total BS and a fantasy, just like time travel.
  18. I was really interested in this film back in the day when its trailers were being shown on tv, I thought it would be a good sci-fi film, but I didn't have the time to watch it then. A few years later my sis bought the DVD, I watched it then and I didn't like it at all. It's a very poor film as a sci-fi and just a cliche horror movie with stupid supernatural, religious garbage. Never bothered to watch it again, still have the DVD somewhere.
  19. Underrated, underappreciated, misunderstood film, certainly much better than today's garbage. Had bought the DVD and the soundtrack CD right after watching it and it's been more than two decades now since I last watched it. While I find it too depressing to watch again (I still occasionally watch clips from it and listen to certain parts of the score), I also think it was too optimistic in the typical Spielberg fashion.
  20. I love the original score by David Raksin.
  21. Thank you, @Kendo 2. I can see that they immediately jumped to denial mode, except, whenever I'm being redirected to the recaptcha page, I simply change the user agent string and refresh the page and voila, no more recaptcha! How does that happen, I wonder? Below are some of the example user agent strings that either pass the recaptcha or are caught by it. For IE11 etc. CloudFlare recaptcha page displays a message that says "Your browser is out of date!", so that's different and that's not the issue here. Below are some of the user agent strings that are redirected to recaptcha page... and these ones are some of the ones that are not... And by the way, I have an old version of Opera (Chrome based) as well as a older version of Firefox, neither of them is caught by recaptcha, like never ever. I don't really know when this issue has started, cause I had not visited that site for months, but as far as I'm concerned, the issue has been going on for more than a week. Sometimes the automatic browser checking thing appears instead and I have no issues then, but when it doesn't show up, I'm usually redirected to the recaptcha page. Note 1: Anyone can try these out by themselves, all you need is a user agent switching add-on. Note 2: There are many other sites that I visit daily use Cloudflare for DoS protection, but the issue I described above only happens on Loverslab.
  22. This has really pissed me off which is why I'm posting about it here. After numerous time consuming experiments, I've figured that a certain "genius" at LL blocked certain user agents (i.e. browser versions) through Cloudflare and if you're accessing LL using a browser version in that list i.e. Firefox v90, v99 etc. then you're being redirected to the recaptcha page all the time, which is super annoying as it doesn't even work most of the time. If I change the user agent string to another browser or a different version of Firefox everything works fine, so it's not blocking certain IP groups or anything like that, just certain user agent strings are being blocked which is really stupid. I can't post about this there so I'd appreciate if some of you let them know about this shit.
  23. Howard apparently talked about it back in November, 2021. https://www.windowscentral.com/todd-howard-starfield-players-choose-pronouns
