In a video called "Fallout's 25th Anniversary" there's not even a single mention of the creators of the original game, Cain, Boyarsky, Anderson or Fargo. How disrespectful.

The idea of "folding space" had already been around long before this movie. For instance, it was already in Dune novel (1965) and in many other sci-fi books . The idea originates from the idea of wormholes obviously. Traveling through warmholes is pretty much identical to "folding space". In the novel Contact (1985) by Carl Sagan, there's a network of these wormhole nodes that the MC travels through, which were built by an unknown ancient alien race or something (which is pretty much the idea that the Mass Effect series copied). It's all total BS and a fantasy, just like time travel.

I was really interested in this film back in the day when its trailers were being shown on tv, I thought it would be a good sci-fi film, but I didn't have the time to watch it then. A few years later my sis bought the DVD, I watched it then and I didn't like it at all. It's a very poor film as a sci-fi and just a cliche horror movie with stupid supernatural, religious garbage. Never bothered to watch it again, still have the DVD somewhere.

Underrated, underappreciated, misunderstood film, certainly much better than today's garbage. Had bought the DVD and the soundtrack CD right after watching it and it's been more than two decades now since I last watched it. While I find it too depressing to watch again (I still occasionally watch clips from it and listen to certain parts of the score), I also think it was too optimistic in the typical Spielberg fashion.

I can see that they immediately jumped to denial mode, except, whenever I'm being redirected to the recaptcha page, I simply change the user agent string and refresh the page and voila, no more recaptcha! How does that happen, I wonder? Below are some of the example user agent strings that either pass the recaptcha or are caught by it. For IE11 etc. CloudFlare recaptcha page displays a message that says "Your browser is out of date!", so that's different and that's not the issue here. Below are some of the user agent strings that are redirected to recaptcha page... and these ones are some of the ones that are not... And by the way, I have an old version of Opera (Chrome based) as well as a older version of Firefox, neither of them is caught by recaptcha, like never ever. I don't really know when this issue has started, cause I had not visited that site for months, but as far as I'm concerned, the issue has been going on for more than a week. Sometimes the automatic browser checking thing appears instead and I have no issues then, but when it doesn't show up, I'm usually redirected to the recaptcha page. Note 1: Anyone can try these out by themselves, all you need is a user agent switching add-on. Note 2: There are many other sites that I visit daily use Cloudflare for DoS protection, but the issue I described above only happens on Loverslab.

This has really pissed me off which is why I'm posting about it here. After numerous time consuming experiments, I've figured that a certain "genius" at LL blocked certain user agents (i.e. browser versions) through Cloudflare and if you're accessing LL using a browser version in that list i.e. Firefox v90, v99 etc. then you're being redirected to the recaptcha page all the time, which is super annoying as it doesn't even work most of the time. If I change the user agent string to another browser or a different version of Firefox everything works fine, so it's not blocking certain IP groups or anything like that, just certain user agent strings are being blocked which is really stupid. I can't post about this there so I'd appreciate if some of you let them know about this shit. -

As I have said before, you've already played the best games that these developers could ever make. There won't be a better game in the near future and as you can clearly see from the examples such as Bethesda, Bioware, CDPR etc., they've already proved that they can't even make more of the same anymore. Things will only get worse in the future, but besides the lack of imagination and talent of game developers, in the near future you'll realize that computer games aren't as enjoyable as they used to be. Loot boxes, items shops and other awful monetization schemes in every game, pesky always online DRMs, the lack of a decent operating system that isn't a malware/spyware, inflated hardware prices and so on, all of which are already here and will only get worse. Not to mention that the effects of climate change which will severely affect your life in every possible way, will make you reconsider if "gaming" is a viable hobby anymore. It's quite probable that some of you won't be playing TES 6 or Fallout 5, if they are ever made. You think this is all hyperbole? Come back and read this post again 10-15 years later, if this forum is still here that is.

5. No gender selection. I'm surprised no one seems to have noticed that. You can only select a "body type", a la CP 2077. All praise Bethesda, for they are kind enough to give us the opportunity to create our non-binary, gender-fluid tranny characters that we've all been longing for!

My favorite Skyrim voice actors are: 1. The slightly grumpy old man voice by Jim Cummings (Festus Krex, Vignar Gray-Mane, Olfrid Battle-Born, Dengeir of Stuhn, Donnel, Elgrim, Froki, Fultheim, Gunnar Stone-Eye, Guthrum, Herluin Lothaire, Logrolf the Willful, Nurelion, Rogatus Salvius, Sergius Turrianus, Skald the Elder, Styrr, Thadgeir, Ulfr the Blind, Wilmuth, Wuunferth the Unliving, etc.) 2. The haughty male and female High Elf voices. I guess that's because they often say something pretty funny.

Isn't that a Bethesda game? Imagine hearing that line while trying to role-play as a Forsworn... Just checked the voice actor of this Nick (Valentine?) guy, he is the same guy who did the voices for Madanach, Belethor, Mercer Frey, Enthir, Clavicus Vile, Barbas and probably some others. Now, you might be wondering what else they could possibly "woke-ify", after introducing "dark elves" (imported from Africa) in Amazon's new LoTR, or the new Foundation series with gender swapped characters in a melanin-rich universe all in the name of forced "diversity", well, here's your answer... It'd be a shame if it doesn't feature genderfluid dragons...

A few of them may be real, but clearly not all, like this one for instance. Clearly signed up just to be able to post the URL of an escort service in a random thread. Do you occasionally cull these kinds of "members" or are they still counted as such? Don't know if the software supports it, but maybe you should introduce a post limit before allowing new members to post URLs. For instance, a five post limit would help filtering out the spammers.
