This isn't the first time I have heard this happening. They must have some timer or requirement/expectation for the computer to connect to the internet within that time you mentioned instead of using common sense and just wait until it does connect and do its task. I mean seriously... a cocmputer not connected to the internet 1. doesn't need updates as it is doing a job and the owner is satisfied with what is happening and how things are working and 2. won't harm other computers as it is air gapped and can't spread infections or other issues to other computers (since windows gives that free antivirus that they update )

I suggest you get a cheap laptop or something and install Linux on it. Not that Linux won't break something when you update but it won't force a update and wouldn't try to update without any internet lol. That is just crazy. At a point when you believe you need to update you can back up or image the computer and do the backup. If it works find after it you can continue if not just restore the backup. You can even have the OS install on an external drive and migrate your settings and data over as needed. Just copy and paste. Finally, Unless I am mistaken, GIMP is developed primarily on Linux and then ported over to Windows so It likely would run better on Linux but I honestly haven't used it extensively on either Windows or Linux

I don't know of any doctor that would use this as a first use med unless requested by the patient. If then, only if they are deadly overweight. (like 100 pounds more on a 5fit tall person) Funny thing is they give the amount of weight loss over a comple of months. If you cut 500 to 800 cal out of your diet (basically eating less carbohydrates and crap food) you will loose the same amount of weight. You can mix and match that with some walking or extra simple activities and loose weight. (provided you don't have a medical issue that prevents this. This is extremely rare. most people that are fat is because they eat too much or eat the wrong stuff. Blindness, lol. You would think as bad as the FDA is, they would make sure a medicine didn't cause blindness if used correctly. Also, what doctor would prescribe it if it did? @Kendo 2 didn't hear about the antifreeze stabilizers.. lol. Also, whoever thought they use stem cells from aborted fetuses, really needs to be put in an institution. Their brains are broken. Seriously, gradeschool biology covers stem cells and what they are and such. Fuck a simple google search for a decent medical site would give you decent information. Prepared food you get is packed full of starch/sugars much hidden behiind complex names that people just can't understand. Same with salt. Eat fresh, fruit, veggies, eggs, cheese and meat and you will greatly improve any health issue you have. The food is making people sick. Just look at the obesity records from 70s when they allow High Frutose Corn Syrip to be used in food to now. it is clear. I wish I lived closer to the country so that I could get frresh food easier. Stepping off my soap box now. lol

I guess you could get the Patron one if it has the tools you need to do what you want. Skip other months until there is a good release again that has features you want. However, in the end you won't own the game if they sell it I assume you would only have the last Alpha or Beta that they released. That and you likely will be paying more in the long run. Something like this would need to be really worth it. Some of what you have shown @endgameaddiction is very useful and valuable. Another concern is they can change stuff later and block much of what you can do to mod the game now. Hopefully there is a confirmed path mentioned in the Patron for when /if they release it. What they wlil do etc. Another thing I was thinking of, is they might not release it as a game at all. Just keep on having an old "free version" on Steam and have patron access to all the good stuff that they developed. Others could create patrons as a partner for mods and tools and it wouldln't ever officially see the light of day. They could have a continuious stream of $$$ A few years ago I mentioned (I believe shortly after Fallout 4 release ) that LL should have an game that can be modified from the ground up. Start a framework for a new game instead of reverse engineering a game to create a frame work for an exsisting game. People could add to it as they wanted. This seems like the game I mentioned. Lots of flexiblity, easy to change and mod.

Having a great and proper M.D is very important. Not someone that is trying to shove *stuff* in your direction due ot some party or benifit they got from a pharamacy or something.

Hopefully you got a better doctor for her now. I'd toss that crap out. Likely expired in any case. If you are afraid someone might get ahold of that and hurt themselves, many pharmacies will properly dispose of unused medicine for you.

Not only will we survive but we will do fine. Even now with all the regulations and shit going on that has been pilled on over the decades, we still have the ability to make our will known. January 6th is one such example. Shutting down companies that ignore their customer base and the like. So long as we still have the right to speak our mind... yes, even if it is from someone that should be admitted to a mental ward, and we have the right to "bear arms" meaning we have weapons, we can always step up and address any issue. The election process went off as it was intended to. People spoke using the same rules and regulations that the Democrats used in the past to get elected. Same rules that were used (for the most part) since the beginning of this country. These basic rules cannot be overturned regardless of what the Democrats think. If Trump attacked the core principles of the US constution and processes not just shaking things up and removing and correcting years of crud... I think the right and far right would be the very first to respond. Now so long as he doesn't start to piss off his fellow Republicans like he did the first time, things should get done.

Where are all these people? I see people walking around with MAGA stuff and nobody is loosing their shit and I am in a strong Democratic area. An area that voted for Kackles and Trump lost. Surely they should be here. Maybe because where I go much of the day, if you tried to pull that shit, well you would have your teeth handed to you. That is physically threaten someone, follow them and greatly harrass them. That person in the video that threatened a Senator, really needs to be arrested and spend some time in jail. It is one thing to say something about them quite another thing to graphically detail exactly what you would do in the bathroom when you see her. Being a male to female trans person likely has the muscles and capability to do this. Still snoozing people on my Facebook. Upside, I get to see many other things like influancers and such! Also much more peaceful. Still on the process of giving them time to come to their senses before I block them/ unfriend them. I don't believe in punishing someone for their mental illnesses but there comes a time when enough is enough and I have to part ways for my own mental health

I learned a long time ago when I was a kid that you insert the other issue into any comments and if it sounds wrong then it is very likely wrong. It is a great test to see if you are just being stupid and not paying attention to what YOU say and repeating what others say. They are professional victims. If they spent the time they use to think of ways to be victums they would be quite successful in whatever they are a victum in. They keep saying the polls were close. They were so close that they couldn't have lost that badly. Well... when you blame people, attack people and claim victumhood every time someone opens their mouth instead of having an actual dialogue what do you expect? People on the polls obviously lied. Likely giving the infromation that they expected the pollers wanted. Wouldn't be the first time. It is entirrely possible that it was 50/50 and very close regarding people desires (not wanting Trump) but with the continued bullshit of the Democratic Party. Lies, like trying to pass Biden for the presidency when there was ever growing evidence that he wouldn't be able to even begin to serve out a term. This is to the public. They had to see this even more evident as they worked with him daily. Just so that they had a strong canidate to go against Trump. Plans and schemes. That fucked them in the ass. Had they actually been honests and sincere in wanting a better America and giving a strong canidate and policies etc. The election likely would have been much closer. Had they been doing this since Obomma then they might have won. Many of the difference between the polls and the election IMO was those people voting against the Democratic party.
