CONAN EXILES coming in Spring 2017

Conan Exiles is a survival game slated for early release in January 2016, with the full release in Spring 2017.

Content includes: 11 playable human races, full player character customization (both male and female), mysterious ruins and caves to explore, civilization building, the ability to conquer and enslave your enemies, and much more.

Here's some game play footage of the beta.  The guys doing it are are the top-tier devs of the game.  They don't know how to stream so it's kinda painful to watch them bumble through that, but the video shows character creation and some game mechanics.  And at 51:40 it shows the game options.  One of them is 'Maximum Nudity'.

From what I've been reading on reddit and the Conan Exile wiki it seems that the MMO and player vs player can be disabled.  It might be possible to play the game off-line as a single-player game.  If players do that the devs have hinted that there will be a 'cap' at some point where solo players have nothing left to do (all of the monsters, NPC enemies and dungeons have been defeated).

The game is still in Beta so there will be changes.  The devs already admitted it.  They have plans for more areas like snowy mountains, jungles, forests and so on.  They will also be adding war paint and make up the player can apply in real time.  It won't be like Skyrim where you're stuck with it at character creation.

But then again the game might suck.  I wont be buying it until I see reviews and gameplay footage.

yeah, i understand that     actually i usually buy games a couple of years after they came out especially moddable ones !!  need to give the time to you smart guys to create the mods i'll use !  right ?!

Yep.. wait until proper game reviews and actual game play footage is available. Enough that you can make an proper informed decision.

I can accept them not being able to stream videos. They are actually confident enough to play their beta game in public. Besthesda can't even give review copies to their reviewers of FINISHED GAMES.

Here's part two of the live streaming they are doing.  It shows more game mechanics (capturing thralls, crafting, etc.)  Again, it it almost painful to watch the devs stubble through 'how to stream like bros'.  But, I have to hand it to these guys.  They are showing everything that's coming in with the game, including glitches they still haven't addressed.  It's like they're NOT trying to hide game flaws.

There will be mod tools too.  No idea what they are but the devs mentioned them.

Hopefully, they are on some level equal or better than Bethesda's mod tools.

However, in any case they will likely be more stable

Seems kinda cool, but not really my cup of tea. The hair physics kills it for me apart from that bad stream video. Especially when there is more talk than footage going on. >.>
