The Video Game Music Appreciation Thread

Saw this today and had to post it. Jeremy Soule's music is the best thing about TES games.

How often do you hear game music played  with professional musicians and professional singer at a main event like that?

TES games have such inspiration for those fans.

Sorry for such a large entry. You can also find other fun videos based on TES video games that just bring a smile to your face. Truly they can inspire. This makes the final results and degradation over time from Morrowwind to Skyrim SE so sad. It's like having a great rich espresso and diluting it with half a cup of milk and ending up with watered down coffee.

this is been my favorite for a lot of time...   really fun !

 

yet...  even if probably most of you guys might consider it a kind of blasphemy, i don't like music in my games...  every time i install a game, the very first ting i do is going to the options and disabling the music completely   so i have no idea at all of what music there's in Skyrim and if the songs above are in the game or not

I've been playing some Grim Dawn recently. It's an ARPG, much better than the fail known as Diablo3. Music is very good and most have this disjointed country cowboy western feel which make them perfect for New Vegas replacers:

There a lot of good Game Scores. 

Some examples of Songs that i hear very often.

All Malukah Covers, i love her Voice, like Beauty of Dawn or Three Hearts as one

Jeremy Soule is (imo)  the Hans Zimmer of Game Scores. He fascinates me everytime when i hear new tracks from him.

First time when i heard his Music, it was in KotoR (II). Neverwinter Nights, later in Guild Wars, TES Series and so on.

There are other good Musicans like Inon Zur (Dragon age) , Michael Hoenig (Baldurs Gate 2) or  Mark Morgan (Planecape: Torment).

But the most Games that i bought, JS has written the Most Scores.

One of the reasons I'm not interested in TES6 anymore is that since Jeremy Soule was also M2'ed, he won't be making the music for it. Jeremy Soule's music was literally the "soul" (pun intended) of TES since Morrowind. Well, it's the end of an era...

...was another great theme by Soule.

Good video, just reporting what's already known and nothing more. The misconduct allegations may or may not be true but I wouldn't be surprised if they turn out to be true, cause he seems like that kind of a guy. Aside from that, the guy complains about piracy and goes on and scam people on multiple occasions. Not surprising, it's always the thieves who complain about thievery, no problems stealing from others, but if someone steals from them "OMG! IT'S HOLOCAUST!". M$ comes to mind. Goddamn hypocrites. Also (((Jeremy Soule)))... why am I not surprised? (((Epstein))), (((Weinstein)))... why not another one?
