Life allows no one to "win", in that sense, we're all losers. Also, one can't be a "loser", if there's nothing to "win". Perhaps you could say that "success" in life is to have lived a life YOU wanted while keeping your sanity, which is obviously a highly subjective matter. I'd say, if you can't live the life you wanted for reasons that are outside of your control, then you can at least keep your sanity, which I'd also consider a success, and playing games is one way of doing it.

Next thing you know they will ban Gone with the Wind because it had black servants in a demeaning role. that or some other classics that haven't "aged" well.  Instead of accepting it for something from a different time. If they are so sensitive.. use it as a teaching tool for Christ sakes... don't ban it.

The things people will do to land a job at Bethesda...

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/news/13846

If you can't be bothered to read the comments on this particular modder. He removed all his NSFW work because he was denied a spot for Creation Club because of it. So he's cleaning up his portfolio or whatever and trying to get good with Bethesda for a second chance. His NSFW content is no longer available. At least not on Nexus and by him. I guess his work is uploaded somewhere else. Probably LL.

He might as well go get his legs waxed just to impress Bethesda while he's at it.

They need to get off the fucking gas.  Bethesda was never going to hire him.  Creation Club gerbil wheel; yes.  Job; no.  And who in their right mind wants to work for Bethesda unless you're upper management?  It's not a dream job; it turns your hobby into the salt mine from Hell.

Don't know if any of you remember the time when I mentioned the retarded Bioware fanboys who claimed that it was *normal* for Mass Effect (or Dragon Age Origins) to cause extremely high CPU usage (up to 100%) even when you're still on the initial menu screen? Let's have a look at it once more and see if we can find the cause...

The game seems to run a SecuROM related thread (despite the fact that it was supposed to be removed) which takes up 50% of CPU cycles.

These screenshots are taken from the Steam's version of Mass Effect. I don't currently have DA:O installed and I wonder if the situation is the same. I bet it is.

Mind you, I had to do an ALT+TAB to take these screenshots and as you can see, the game continues to run at full speed even when its window is not currently active (not focused). This is probably a proof that either these games weren't designed for PCs in mind or whoever programmed it wasn't very bright.

Sims4 does the same thing.  As soon as Origin verifies the game install and it launches the CPU usage will jump (in my case) from 2% to 100%.  Doesn't matter if I run Sims4 full screen or in windowed mode.  I contacted Maxis, EA and Origin via email and none of them ever responded.  Sims4 is mainly a PC/Mac game and consoles are an afterthought,
