  1. Gopher was on the CC bandwagon. It wasn't until the bait and switch that was done that he lost his mind. Remember the comments of "DLC sized"? What we didn't realize is we were thinking of large ones not the size of the horse armor in Oblivion days. They are doing exactly what they stated, however, they misslead everybody. There double speak is epic. Many "fan boys" have lost their mind for various reasons with the final result of this project he isn't alone in this matter. Shame of it is/was is that they could have done something great with this. Like much of other things they have done, great opportunities are literately fucked over in the worst way each and every time. For example, increase the size of the CC content max, not to auto download so that someone from fucking reddit or elesewhere could "legally" create a esp to access the content which was essentially give away for free (forced download) A bit of money up front while working on the mod and if the author is successful in the CC field they could be offered an elevated position where they get some sort of royalties. A small percentage of the sales, not much but very likely more than they could get from Patrion. (3~5% of sales after x %) or other changes. Any improvement on what they did would have been much better than this.
  2. It isn't like "real artist" haven't used blood, urine and other bodily fluids to create art. It isn't an original idea. Andres Serrano did this as well many, many years ago. It is ashame that they are doing it for attention to themselves, as opposed to attention to the art itself, meaning behind the art, the emotions created from viewing the art (face value) etc, etc. It appears to me at least it is just attention getting and not really worth anyone's time.
  3. Gopher was just understanding what was being "sold" to us. He looked at the upsides which if Bethesda did what they stated they would do (more than 4000 records) etc. He is as much as many of us feeling seriously lied to. Not all of us had the foresight that some of us have. Some didn't see this coming even though there was serious hints that this was coming. Now, the other shoe dropped and now everybody even the Bethesda Fan boy that loved and adored Bethesda and their offerings is now realizing Bethesda isn't the "golden" company that those fans thought it was. I am interested in seeing how his long term reaction will be now that he can clearly see what Bethesda is really like and what they think of their customers and the modding community which includes him as he is an established Bethesda modder in his own right.
  4. ^ Above is a very good explanation of our processes from a member's perspective (not stated by ourselves) we live up to that. We as far as I know haven't deleted or edited anything without the owners understanding of the reason, and those times it was due to those issues which Kendo stated above. If anything has been changed there is a different color text and a very explicit explanation. (one example is the Skyrim Tutorial and that was only done with permission from the author ) This has lead to a very healthy, open and accepting community. We intend to keep it this way as long as we are involved in the matter. Furthermore we have no problem with someone taking a conversation or issue PM to discuss some issue further (for better clarification or such) on almost any matter. Finally, we are unconcerned with levels of activity (more, less don't matter) We have no goals to become large or "popular' we just want to be a very pleasant site to go to to discuss games and similar subjects. It is completely up to the member what level of activity they wish to engage in (unlike others sites)
  5. You aren't allowed to use those words here if you will cry and have a fit because someone gives you back as hard as you give Don't worry Karma, sorry I missed this somehow. In any case if you, or others, miss some word or slang, just ask for clarification of the term. Someone should be able to help clarify it. I don't consider that derailing the thread as everybody needs to understand the conversation as much as possible. To be honest I don't know most of the colorful terms that Kendo comes up with...He is a regular slang libary.. lol Carifications to the words given above ... to the best of my ability... not sure on the last one.
  6. They were so wrong.... Oh we are so terrible... horrible. The worst experiences you will ever have on a site in your life.... run, run fast as you can In any case, glad to see you here and hope you have a fun time here and enjoy yourself.
  7. Yes, I think we need to know how you successfully completed this so that we can do it as well.
  8. Why would anyone recommend you to come to this site lol
  9. Wait... I know what is going on... The Board of Directors on EA and the individual divisions are having a contest. The contest is who can do the most stupid thing possible. In my opinion MEA's people is doing the most stupid things but Bethesda is not to be trifled with, they will surprise us with the levels of stupidity that they can go to. However, lets be honest, blaming their customers complaints for the reason they killed multi million dollar franchise when they were responsible for releasing an unfinished game... that is pretty much the heights of stupidity IMO. It will be very hard for Bethesda to beat that.
  10. Steam automatically gives you the Skyrim SE if you have all the DLCs or GOTY when it was released. At least as far as I know. So far this crap hasn't happened to either of the Skyrims. I don't believe it will happen to the old Skyrim however I do believe it will be rolled out to Skryim SE however that will be some time and you don't have it so you are safe. (since you also don't have Fallout 4 installed, however, I wouldn't put it past them to make the game auto load based on what is going on now... just kidding.. lol however, .... um... they couldn't be that stupid... wait... they have done lots of very stupid things so far... now I am scared. :P) Update; Checked and there are no CC crap mods added to either Skyrim edition ... so far. I verified cache and double checked.
  11. The mods are pre-downloaded as I understand it. Good luck on being able to install many more games due to the limited space the Xbone has and due to the amount of mods that will be shoved into your xbone so that you can pay and instantly have access to the mods.. sorry... um... Creation Content. Please don't ban me for making a mistake in terminology...
  12. Wow... a console user and an advocate of their company. (one of the few) A female gamer, video blogger, etc banned for pointing out a concern she had. Oh and now there is a nice wake up that most mod authors don't realize (at least many don't including the above blogger) is this process they OWN YOUR MOD when you work with them. Guess they will be richer from the massive amounts of money that they won't have to pay her for her contribution.
  13. What most people are missing is the wording that Bethesda has for their CC. When they state that it has to be "new" content they never stated that alternatives which are similar or even the same wasn't going to be available. They likely intended that statement to stand as ... the current mods wouldn't be accepted into the program. It is semantics but, I can see them thinking that way.
  14. I have looked at Loverslab post etc, but don't go to read Nexus. I don't find anything useful (usually) there. Sometimes I find some useful info at Lovers (DoctaSax posted the Gopher review video which was quite informative and posted before the same info here.) I wouldn't call it wet farting sounds. I would akin it more like this
  15. Fallout 4... with everything is LARGE. Adding the CC content only adds to this. Imagine having a near 100mb game on a gaming laptop with an SSD. You would be only able to play one game or so on most currently sold gaming laptops. Most have SSD but they are 256 or maybe 512 if lucky. That sucks up quite a bit of space and this is before any added files. Before F4SE, tools, mods etc. Just the entire Fallout 4 options and CC content (verified cache) nothing else. Modern games are large by standard, however, it isn't beneficial to blow that up with crap that you might or might not need. It is DLC type content. "Official Content" then fine. Cool. Don't give a dam. However, they should treat this content as they do the other content like the High Texture pack etc. In Steam you can unclick it and ... *poof* it is gone from your game folder. There is no unclick, no remove etc. If you delete it you have to do so manually and if you ever have to re-verify the cache not only will you have to download any damaged files you will have to download (currently >600mb) files which you have no use for. There is no ability to avoid this. Needless to say this sucks.
  16. Yea, which is so stupid that they "give" you the files when you never signed up for the program. lol. I repurchased the game so I had the first version (EULA etc) So your Eula would be the one I was covered by. Funny thing is I can't find the file. I can find files for EULA from other games but not Fallout 4
  17. They have a whole different thing when you try to sign up for the Creators club. It is pages and pages (scrolling) of content. Dam, my last NDR /Non Compete documentation had less content and conditions... Slight off topic... Dam I really wish Cyberpunk was released. I really want a new game to play. Board alien isn't an happy alien.
  18. Where did you get that from? I will see if I can get the current copy.
  19. what makes these files being loaded into your game folder even more horrific is the fact that you can remove the DLCs pretty easy by simply unclicking them in the panel labeled "DLC below the Play button. When you do this you get Disclaimer... I did delete the "CC" crap but other than that nothing else. On a side note if you experienced the addition of the High Texture pack and it completely fucked your game causing CTD and other shit... just unclick it and be done with it. It will instantly delete it from your Steam folder.
  20. It might very well be. I don't have the tools (or care enough to extract them) to see if it is indeed included in the BSA records. However their format with BS2/ESM is pretty consistent through the Data file. Not sure if they can include the entire thing into the BS2 file to make it work If that is the case then that is even more stupid. People can rip these out and even have the files (records) to rework. P.S. I can't find the Eula file (raw in the folder.) to upload it here to see it was indeed changed as @Kendo 2 believes it to be.
  21. yes, they should have waited and sent out invites for the program to those mod authors that they wanted to work with and worked on "flagship" projects that would properly represent the best of the best they had to offer before they rolled out the program. This would have been the best path, however, they have a history of not following the best path. I also did confirm for those that don't have the game and those that won't load the game anymore that indeed the BSAs are installed with the most recent update.
  22. Update... @endgameaddiction was correct. I thought it wasn't possible for them to be that stupid as to preload all the content into the computer but apparently their stupidity knows no bounds and I am giving them too much credit. AS you can see above after the most recent update... a ton of shit has been added to the game. All start with CC. (Creators Club) much like the rest of the games would show DLC(DLC name) what the item is format. The second capture is how much space you are using on your SSD for the crap that you don't want or need or will even use. It appears that they placed the assets (textures, meshes etc) into your game folder but not the esm/esp. Likely that is what you are "buying" So as mentioned above... you should be able to extract those fuckers and then just add it to your own game record... if you wanted it. WTF.... really? They (Bethesda) isn't even holding the files for those that purchase them... Hell just give the assets out to everybody so that it would be much easier to pirate the content. Wow... It is SoOOOOO very difficult to create a record for an armor / weapon ... Yea.... @Kendo 2 comment above applies pretty well here.
  23. Yes, it was their claim at least. However, lets understand this. Even back in Oblivion days they released a "Horse Armor" so what they are offering is "DLC Like Content" at least in perspective of what they have done in the past. I was thinking about this when I seen the videos here and elsewhere on this subject. I believe it was those in power wanted to roll out the project and didn't have larger content and decided to do this with the smaller content to "test the system" so to say. To get it out there for people to see and start to interact and to help iron out any glitches etc. (that is if they were a proper company wanting to be sure their product was functional Which I doubt this is the case.) There is a backlash... and it is inevitable. It is the nature and they understand this and will continue. They tried the Steam way and such and failed. Once they created their site and started setting it up I was fairly confident they would be the source. Might have even been their original idea to do but was afraid that there would be more of a backlash due to them being perceived as trying to take over for other modding sites. Hell they might have even wanted it to fail. (Insert favorite Doctor Evil quote here) So far based on what I have seen and the paths that they have taken, I believe this is exactly what they had in plan since the beginning. They hope that others will come and help increase the content but in reality they need to get it out there and starting to be functional before that can happen. I am of the same opinion as most here... however, I can't help but to understand that they don't have this super large content as they only started this a short time ago and this type of content from mod authors takes quite some time to develop. Honestly, look at the amount of time and man hours it took for your favorite "DLC Sized" mod from Skyrim. I want to bash them harshly but will reserve my rants until they have had a chance to prove what we all pretty much are willing to bet on... they will fail with this project, before I really tear into them. @Kendo 2 Yes, I agree with your rant above. In fact their actions and changes have left such a sour taste in my mouth that I was looking at a game for purchase (on sale) at a store.. I was reading it and know it was fairly well regarded but when I read the Bethesda logo on the back... I put it down... I will check further before I buy it and likely will place it on my "wish list" etc for a 5 or so dollar purchase if it is excellent. (I forget the name but it is the one where you are an assassin and the cover has that weird mask. The first edition not the recent release. ) I didn't realize how bad a number they did to me (well to be fair combined with EA's MEA nonsense) FUCK! Not sure that is the case. However,I have an update to take care of (after zip theFallout exe etc first) Is there a listing of the new files? I am doing an update and have taken a before update capture. I'll check later after the update (perhaps ) and see if something new dropped. I believe you have to go and get the file and sign up first before you get the added files. Now once you do that you do get the files and then have to buy them first. I was already pissed at the size of the Textures pack for something that is almost undetectable.
  24. That is either an extremely romantic date... or the most embarrassing one... depending lol. That makes me wonder... can someone (Average person) carry a Barry White karaoke? His music is through and through 70's... but I don't care... lol. You will never (at least so far for close to 40+ years) have a woman complain about playing this song... Added benefit... she knows what is on your mind when you do play it when you are alone Here is a a song that is very romantic and more able to be sung buy those Lesser Men (and women) from Al Green
  25. There is already a Hell fire mod http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/26251/? and the others are re textures of the pipboy? It isn't even useful micro-transactions.
