I was cautious at first since I have the tendency to be very up front. Or rather, very honest. I didn't want to cross the line so I didn't know (for sure) what was permitted. But I began to understand that NSFWmods is a place where the rules apply to everyone and everyone is on the same playing field. We won't always agree with every single thing, but for the most part (up till now) we've all pretty much been on the same level of thought. I certainly have nothing against anyone with a different opinion as long as they have valid points and not just "you're a troll" "you're a hater".

To be critical, the way LL has been moderated the past few years, they are catering to safe space and encouraging people to be cowards rather than challenging. This is LL alone. And then people wonder why SJWs exist. They treat them with this kind of condition and people don't know how to defend themselves. They result to crying and running to mommy as grown men.

There's no reason for anyone to be cautious here unless they come in with a social agenda and want to change what we have to suit their own fucked up ends.  We ain't gonna tolerate that shit.

The NSFWMods staff stance is to not get involved or micromanage the site.  As long as what's going on doesn't violate U.S law or adversely affect the site we just don't care.  There have only been three instances where the staff has been forced to step in; one case of an uploader submitting stolen content, an instance of one sexualized child mod for Skyrim, and one case of an LL staff member coming over here, throwing a tantrum and flouncing off like a fucking faggot when he didn't get his way.  That's a good track record considering the amount of people who filter through here on a day-to-day basis.

What really saves us is DoubleZero's stroke of genius.  He allows 'guests' to download mods without having to register an account, post, participate or anything else.  That means people who just come here for the mods get what they want without issue.  It also keeps people who really don't want to be here from cluttering up the forums with inane social media Nexus/LL bullshit.

It's my type of forum then. :D

LL and their double standards... You get insulted and mods do nothing, insult back and you immediately get a warning. They've been deleting my posts or editing out parts that they don't like, they've even deleted an entire thread and you know how they always find a suitable "rule" as an excuse. I'm also aware that they've (well, one guy actually and you know who) specifically been picking on the people they don't like. They've even given me a permanent warning for "protesting openly" and even deleted my signature which was slightly critical of the self-proclaimed "porn site". This is quite literally insulting behavior which I can no longer tolerate. I'm done contributing to a forum which keeps insulting me. I've been there for five years and helped and contributed significantly, well, at least to my standards, it's over now.

We as far as I know haven't deleted or edited anything without the owners understanding of the reason, and those times it was due to those issues which Kendo stated above. If anything has been changed there is a different color text and a very explicit explanation. (one example is the Skyrim Tutorial and that was only done with permission from the author ;) )

This has lead to a very healthy, open and accepting community. We intend to keep it this way as long as we are involved in the matter. Furthermore we have no problem with someone taking a conversation or issue PM to discuss some issue further (for better clarification or such) on almost any matter.

Finally, we are unconcerned with levels of activity (more, less don't matter) We have no goals to become large or "popular' we just want to be a very pleasant site to go to to discuss games and similar subjects. It is completely up to the member what level of activity they wish to engage in (unlike others sites)

I played as Gandalf in Oblivion so i could help in Oblivion but not Skyrim.Hehe..i know what you mean i finally created a stable backup of Skyrim complete with saves, ini's and my best liked mods.I've had to reinstall several times due to wayward scripts or Skyrim worms, don't laugh,i've seen them,i was drinking tequila at the time but never the less...,that like to burrow into the game and cause havoc.I hate when that happens...Thank you. :D

EDIT:Ok i read some of your posts,i didn't mean to make light of the problems you're having.I've spent weeks on similar problems just to end up having to wipe out everything and reinstall, very frustrating.

i had a stable Skyrim too... but then i had to remove ENB because after the latest windows update it wasn't working anymore and stopped Sk from running... and now i have all the strangest problems !  i solved some just to get some new ones...  :(

Hello!

I was trying to find a web site that still offered up anatomically correct bodies for my latest reinstall / play through of FNV and google listed this place.  So I read through several things and liked what I saw.  And Kendo's work sealed the deal for me.  As someone else mentioned earlier, I was even given the option to DL without signing up and being on my merry way, but I realized this site might have more to offer than just the skin mod I originally came looking for.

I already feel wiser after having read the post about what was acceptable material and the Wiki Link.  I even read some unhappy comments about LL which strangely enough made me feel more comfortable with this site (my one and only venture to that other place ended up with them sending me a virus which I was fortunate / unfortunate enough to avoid because I'd been hit with the exact same virus a few months before and knew enough to immediately power off my rig).

About me, well Im a 45 yr old married gay man, living in Texas.  Im a premium member of Nexus who has become completely disillusioned with them after they went and pulled so many of the mods i used off the site.  I am a mod user, not a creator.  My skills in modding are limited to opening up the editor, reading through mods I like, and tweaking things here and there to more suit my desires. So limited scripting, no graphic skills at all.  In all honesty what Id really like to know is where all the mods and mod makers I followed went after Nexus went PG13.  Maybe not here, or maybe not here yet, but i still like the idea and feel of this place.  So i've signed up and bookmarked and will follow this community for a while and see if it feels like home.

Welcome to NSFW.

Not sure which mods were pulled by Nexus, but they still allow adult content. Maybe it was back when they enforced no nude images on the public image section. But what I find to be irony is that they put this rule in place of no nude images, but you can skim all the way back to 2010ish and find nude images up. I guess they are too lazy to go through them and remove them.

I think K2 would have more knowledge about this than I. I didn't start to pay attention to the hypocrisy of Nexus until Earach42's ban because of someone who claimed his assets to be theirs from the Book Of Earache (BOE) and they wen't full shoot now ask questions later.

Yeah, welcome to the site.  You may like it here and you may not since we are breaking the norms with how things are done.  The staff is pretty much 'hands off' on content and posts so feel free to run wild.  Misdemeanor things that will get you warned or even banned on other sites (like Nexus or LL) don't apply here.  Trolling, profanity, whatever are A-OK on NSFW.  We simply don't care and there aren't any 'because we said so' or 'drama' rules.  Basically, NSFWMods is like the Wild West and the members are on their own.  You can be yourself here. :)

Hi! New member getting back into gaming and modding after a few years hiatus. I was basically stalking Kendo 2 which is how I found my way here.  So far I like what I see and even more I like the attitude here. I mean, it's like you guys all believe in having fun first, amiright?

Well, this is not Nexus so you can be yourself and no one is going to judge/correct/interfere with anything you're doing.  The staff here are NOT the arbitrators of jack shit.  Our only cut-off points are things that will cause REAL trouble for DoubleZero or his site, and anything illegal.  Your a free to do whatever you like otherwise...with the handful of rules anyway.

We keep a lot of the internet trash out of here because people don't have to be members to download files.  IF someone registers then that means they had to go out of their way to join.  It keeps the membership numbers down BUT site traffic is what's important.

And please start making comics again. :D

Thanks! I was always surprised how much people liked my comics, as crude as they were. That's my main reason for getting back into the game. I really enjoyed the ones I've already done and I'm looking forward to taking another shot at it.

Hey all, I'm RowanSkie, IGN either RowanSkie, RowanSkye, or Rowan Ex, or Mark Johnson Crafters. I found this mod through FNV Type 4's page (because the female nude replacer had a link to Kendo 2's Breeze Redux). There, I downloaded some of his mods more.

And now, since I got Sims 4 (Lucky break! Free for this week), I may or may not try the mods here.

Also, I have an account on Loverslab and Nexus, which both really has more... immature people, in my opinion.

Don't tell them.

Hello. I am LadySmoks. I think what was posted by @bjornk, in the spoiler box, way back in Sept, 2017, sums things up for me, and it is time for a change. Perhaps not the biggest driver of this site, but I create CC for Sims 3, and hope to find a friendly place to display my work and share with whomever likes it. I have seen that my friend and mentor, @JoshQ is here, so I feel some comfort already. Tomorrow is my last day on that other website. I will be removing all of my CC and hope to share everything here. I guess that is it for now. )

Well let me be the first to welcome you to the site. I believe you will find it a friendly and open site that you can be relaxed and do your modding work in peace. We pride ourselves (and hold each other on the moderator team) to being as open and accepting as legally allowed to be regarding modding.

Let one me or any of the leadership team of this site know if there are any questions or problems you might have so that we can help in this transition.

Thank you! To be honest, posting mods was never an issue there. But, the well known "boys club" mentality was. It was as breaking an unwritten rule that women do not post comments with different opinion, bow your head, shut up and walk 10 feet behind... and never use the "report button" against one of the boys.

I am taking a break for a while, but as later today will remove all of my content from LL, will eventually seek you, or another moderator out regarding setting up, perhaps a blog page, to simply post everything I currently have to make it available again, and then using the normal route thereafter.

Thank you again!
